His POV
As I wait for her to answer my call, I'm still thinking of what to say to her that I didn't realize that I am now hearing her breath on the phone saying my name over and over.
'Adrian...'
'Alison...'
I don't know what to say to her. I want to say I miss her and I still love her but I don't have the courage to say it.
'Adrian? are you still there?'
'Yes,'
'W-Why did you call me?'
She stuttered while asking me. Is she afraid?
'Can we meet up?'
I asked her. But if she will decline I'll accept the fact that I will never see and hear her again.
'Y-yeah s-sure, where?'
She accepted and I was happy but she was still stuttering.
'Is the park okay with you? You know, the one where we met?'
I aked her that because if I see her later, I'll puck up the courage to ask for forgiveness and tell her the reason why I left her.
'It's okay with me. What time?'
'After an hour?'
'Okay. I'll meet you there.'
After that she hung up the phone and I resisted the urge to jump up in joy but that's what I did.
Her POV
A ringing of a phone snapped me out of my reading time and I took it from my desk and the caller read 'Adrian'.
The call that I have been waiting has finally arrived and I answered it but all I hear is his breath that I also want to hear.
I called his name over and over because he still isn't talking. And finally, I heard him call my name and it sent shivers to my body.
But after he called my name, he didn't talk again so I broke the silence.
'Adrian? are you still there?'
Then finally he answered.
'Yes,'
'W-Why did you call me?'
I stuttered and I almost felt like crying.
'Can we meet up?'
Why is he asking to meet me? Does he want to get back together? So, I accepted his offer.
'Y-yeah s-sure, where?'
'Is the park okay with you? You know, the one where we met?'
The place we met? Suddenly I become nervous.
'It's okay with me. What time?'
'After an hour?'
An hour? Why is it so sudden? Does he really want to us to be back together?
'Okay. I'll meet you there.'
When I said that, I hope my decision will not be bad.
