Oh, what a wonderful life.
The trees are green,
The grass is soft,
The sky is clear,
And the flowers are in full bloom.
Oh, what a wonderful life.
Is what I would say if that were true.
The trees are bare,
There is no grass,
The sky is grey,
And the flowers are decayed.
Oh, what a life it is,
What a life indeed.
All the wonderful things of greenery,
And clear skies are nothing but
Fantasies created in my mind.
For this world has rid of all that is beautiful,
and only left with grey and nothingness.
Yet people are happy,
or content
with their lives.
They have the same life as I
Yet I am not satisfied.
I wish to live the life of the fantasy,
But obviously I cannot,
For something like that can never happen
Not in my lifetime anyway.
