Today is the day.
Hayden, Emily and Lucky are off to Bora Bora for the first time together.
It's 10 o'clock in the morning and Lucky is fast asleep. He suddenly wakes up and the first thing he does is check his alarm clock.
[10:00 A.M]
"Oh shit!" He screams. "How could I oversleep at a time like this?!" He questions himself and rapidly gets out of bed.
20 minutes later, he's out of the bathroom and all dressed. He grabs his phone off his bed and checks his messages. While he is scrolling through his texts, he suddenly receives a message from Emily.
Emily:
[Hey babe, are you packed for our trip? :) X]
After reading the text, he replies with a polite message.
Lucky:
[Hey Em! Yes I have packed, I'm heading downstairs to eat some breakfast and then I'll be over at your house. I love you. X]
Lucky heads downstairs and walks into the kitchen where he finds his mom sitting on the table with her hands on her head. His heart pounds out of curiousness as of what is happening.
"Hey mom, what's up?" He asks with slight worry in his eyes.
She gradually departs her hands from her head and replies to his question.
"Good morning, Luck." She says. "Shouldn't you be going to Bora Bora with Emily and Hayden?"
"Um, yeah... But I need some breakfast first." He chuckles in confusion.
"Hm. Yes!" She remembers, and pours him some cereal with milk on top.
As soon as Lucky finishes his cereal, he dashes back upstairs to get his suitcase and Gucci jacket that his father bought him for his birthday last year.
"Well mom... I'm gonna go over to Em's house now to wait for Hayden so we can all go together." He tells her. "Don't miss me! I'll only be gone for a week." He laughs.
"Ooh. I don't think that's necessary!" She laughs along with him. "Please be safe. I love you so much, and I hope you guys have a wonderful trip. Don't forget to call me when you arrive, lovely!"
Lucky exits the door and heads towards his car to drive away.
20 minutes later, he arrives at Emily's house.
