Dollie the friendly doll

Chapter 2: Resentful

Everyone is there at the birthday celebration party of Jenna. It is just a simple gathering in their new house. All Jenna's relatives were present. The only stranger in the house is Hubert Simpson, the owner of the doll store nearby in town where Stella and Jenna bought Dollie. Eric was shocked to see Hubert and didn't like the idea of inviting it over. The relatives of the Lee family got shocked as well but even so, they just entertained Hubert. Everything is complete on Jenna's birthday especially when it comes to foods. There were hot dogs, pizzas, pastas, ice creams, chickens, fillet foods, and other desserts as well. Most importantly, there is a cake of course which should always be included on a birthday party. Jenna is already 9 years old and obviously, there are nine candles on top of the cake for her to blow. Jenna has a simple wish and it's all about her doubts and fears in life. Fears about the new people that she will encounter not only in their neighborhood but on the school that she will be going to. She doesn't want the past to repeat itself in this town and experience being bullied again. She wants to be peaceful but nobody knows if this wish of her will be granted unless she starts to go to school. She also has a wish for her family and it's to have a healthy and long life. She received plenty of gifts given by her relatives. Some gave her a beautiful dress. Some gave her toys such as dolls and stuff toys. While some gave her shirts to wear for special occasions. 

"Happy birthday Jenna! It's been a long time since we last saw each other". Felicity said.

"Thank you aunt Felicity and yeah, it's been a while when I last saw you".

"This gift is for you and I'm definitely sure that you will love it"!

"What is it aunt Felicity"?

"Why don't you go and take a look at it right now"?!

"We're just getting started aunt Felicity. Mommy always tell me not to open my gifts when there is still a party. She always reminds me that it's better to open them after celebrations".

"It's ok dear! Let's make this birthday party of yours a unique one. You can open your gifts now right in front of them". Stella told Jenna.

"Alright mommy. I'm going to open this gift now that came from aunt Felicity".

Jenna opened the gift that her aunt Felicity gave her and she was so happy about it. It was another doll that's so beautiful just like Dollie. Jenna pressed a button on her new doll and it talked in a friendly way as well. The only difference between this doll and Dollie is that, it can only talk but not to move. It's wearing a white dress with a combination of color pink. It has a blonde hair, fair skin, dark brown eyes, rosy cheeks, and reddish lips. The sadness that she had felt towards her old doll Lemi faded and it was replaced by happiness because of her new doll given by her aunt. She held it gently with an obvious joyful expression on her face. Dollie saw how happy Jenna was. Dollie felt resentment at that moment seeing her holding another doll. She was supposed to be the doll on Jenna's arms and not that new one. Dollie hated every single moment of witnessing the scene of being on the floor which is like being neglected on a box while they are celebrating at the party. Hyro, one of the cousins of Jenna accidentally looked at Dollie and it got scared because it saw how mad and scary Dollie's face looks like while it's staring at Jenna. Dollie's face is showing indignation and it gave Hyro goosebumps all over it's body. Hyro immediately removed his attention to Dollie and thought of hallucination. He might just be hallucinating and when he looked back at Dollie, it's face no longer shows madness. It's facial expression is now friendly which is considered to be a normal doll. Hyro is 8 years old which makes him one year younger to Jenna. He is not that tall. His height is just right for his age. He has blue eyes, blonde hair, fair skin, and a fair nose just like his siblings. It was on the blood and race of the Lee family to have fair and beautiful skin. Hyro has this older brother named Helix and an older sister named Heather. Hyro is the most quiet kid among the three while Helix and Heather are importunate.
