The demons awaken

SARA'S POV
We slept in the basement. Too scared to go back into our house. There was food, water, and blankets in the basement. We've always kept it there just for an emergency. Sky's blood sugar was really high. I'm scared it will do something because of her cancer. Hayes is passed out, I'm sure he thinks if he stays sleeping he will think this is all a dream.
It's 10:00 am in the morning. Jack is who knows where, and Aly-I mean "Katherine" is probably still in our house.
But I don't know that for sure. This seems like it's all just a dream. I mean, and evil twin of me?? Vampires?? Blood sucking demons??

This all doesn't make sense. But I think I want to go back in the house to check. There's a gun in the basement as well. And last night I used most of the wool to make steaks. At least I hope that works. I don't even know if it's the same as they say in the fairytale's. But it won't hurt to try.

"Sky, you and Hayes stay here. If Katherine comes in here, you take this steak, and put it through her heart. If your too scared tell Hayes to do it. Protect each other." I explained.

"Please don't go back into the house. Your gonna get hurt all by yourself." Sky said.

"I'll be fine, be careful." And then I left.

I was walking very slowly, trying not to make a sound.
I slowly opened the front door, and walked in. All I saw was blood everywhere, and the whole house was a mess. Picture frames broken, couches ripped like a dog was messing with it.. Windows were broken.
I heard a sound and pointed my gun where I heard it. Then Stefan walked out from the room and I shot him. It was an accident and I regret it.

I quickly ran to him and started to scream.

"Stefan! I'm so sorry!! I thought you were Katherine! I'll call an ambulance!!"
"Sara.. It's fine." He said.

I looked at him very confused. And then he told me to look at the wound.
It slowly started to heal, all by itself. I was so shocked and scared.

"H-how.." He cut me off saying,
"Vampires can heal themselves."

"This can't be real.... IT CANT BE!!" I scared to scream. I felt like I was going crazy, like someone was wrong with me.

"SARA CALM DOWN!" He yelled trying to keep me in place.

I listened, and sat myself down. And took a deep breath.

"Where's Jack." I asked.
"He left. I don't know where but he left." He said.

Just when I thought everything was fine again, Katherine walked in.

"Hey bitches, ready to party one more time?"

So so sorry I haven't updated in like FOREVER
I've been super busy with school. and I didn't really have any ideas for the next chapter. I know I ALWAYS say I'm busy with school and stuff and that's always the excuse but seriously, high school is hard man.

I hope you guys liked this chapter, i just wrote it from the top of my head lmao.
