You And I

A journey to Florida

SARA'S POV
We got comfortable in the plane and we were all waiting for it to take off. As I put my ear buds in my ears stefan tapped on my shoulder.

"yeah?" I ask.

"Um.. do you mind- I want to get to know you..?" he asked.

"oh, sure yeah.. what do you want to know?" I asked.

"just about your life, what you like to do.." he says.

"well, I like pizza, ice cream, and Netflix." We laughed.

"But I really like those.. and I like going to the beach so when we get to florida im going there right when I get off the plane!" We laughed again.

For about an hour we talked about me and him and laughed and laughed until we had no last breath.

It was getting dark and we had about 4 hours before we get to florida. I checked up on sky and gave her her daily medications and she went to sleep. Now, it was time to ask stefan about my father.

"um.. stefan?" I say
"yeah?" he asks

"I need to talk to you about something..
And I want you to be honest with me.." I said.

"Okay what is it?" he asked.

"Remember when we met at the store? And once I mentioned my fathers name you stuttered and left quickly? Do ... You.. know something about him..? Do you know where he is..?" I ask.

he took a deep breath.

"Yes.. I work for him.. he's a special doctor.. he sent me to California to make sure you don't find him. He left you and your mom and sky for a reason." Stefan explained.

"wait... So you knew all about me and knew where I was at the right time, and you didn't bother telling me?!" I almost raised my voice.

"Sara, calm down.. please. it's not like that. I'm protecting you." he said.

"From what? Not seeing my father? I don't care if he doesn't want me I just want to see him!" I yelled. and even started to cry. I layed my head on stefan's shoulder and he patted my head slowly.

"I take you to him. But the only reason why he doesn't want you finding him is because he's not any regular doctor.. There is a poisonous insect going around in Florida and he's dissecting it do see what makes it poisonous. It's a very dangerous insect.. And it attacks like an animal and it's as big as an animal. ( note the sarcasm) He has thousands of them captured into a fish tank without water." He explained.

"Then you bring him to me. I will be waiting in my new home until you bring him. I don't care how long it takes I want to see him." I said.

"Okay, sunshine.. anything you want." he said kissing my forehead.

And that's when I started to miss Jack so much already..
