The next morning, i awoke at 4am to finish all the house work and make breakfast. We didn't have much to eat for breakfast so i just prepared some soft delicious moon cakes "Jae said she liked moon cakes," i said to myself "I know, i'll take some with me to share with her." Before i could smuggle some under my dress, father woke up stretching and yawning loudly, "Only moon cakes?" he said, still half asleep as i nodded silently, i'm wasn't much of a talker. He poured a glass of water for himself and took it over to the table to sit down. He picked up a moon cake and began eating "Well, aren't you going to eat?" he asked
"Oh yes!" i picked up a moon cake and began eating and soon Hyo had woken up, again crying. I got up from my seat and put him on my lap to start feeding him some berry fruit juice and moon cake pieces; father finished eating. "I'll feed Hyo, you start eating," he said and he took Hyo from my lap so i could finish my moon cake.
I picked up another moon cake from the plate and remembered that i had to take atleast two for Jae so i quickly smuggled it under my dress and in to my pouch pocket. "You've finished that moon cake already?" my father asked curiously
"Umm...Yes, yes i have. I'm just really hungry." I picked up another moon cake and was making an action that looked as if i was going to eat it, but instead i rapidly smuggled it into my pouch pocket again. This time father hadn't noticed anything but there was one moon cake left, i intended on taking it. I was about to put my hand on the plate to reach for it but before i could even touch it, father grasped at it, not noticing that i actually wanted it. It didn't really matter, i had two just for me and Jae. "Well," my father took a napkin and wiped his mouth "I'd better be off," and he got up to leave the table and ran upstairs.
A while later, he came back down again, wearing his suit and tie and holding his pin locked brief case "I'll see you at 7 Eun with some groceries so you can cook dinner and tomorrows breakfast. The moon cakes were lovely by the way," and he kissed my for head and walked over to Hyo. "Bye cheeky monster!" He tickled Hyo's belly as Hyo started giggling and then father kissed his for head, gave me the locking door lecture and left.
I grabbed Hyo's hand and ran upstairs to our bedroom (me and Hyo shared one). First i got him changed and soon i got myself changed and put the moon cakes i smuggled in a small plastic bag and put that in to my bag. Hyo wondered what i was doing "Hyo, we're going to the North side, you cannot tell father ok?" i told him as if he could understand. He calmly nodded and started giggling, maybe he didn't like my dress or he thought i looked funny. I didn't bother checking how i looked, Hyo giggled at everything anyway and soon we both left.
