Chapter 17
MR.Smith sat with confusion and worry I said " I was told not just by father but from Iceblood and a couple of friends of mine." I explained everything to him and he seemed less worried and confused about it. I asked "Do you know anything that might help?" He shook his head and said "Sorry but I don't know if I can help this time." I sighed things are going to be very difficult now Jackie said " All she needs right now is to know where the Place of Peice and truth is and then she's all good but to do that she needs to know where it is and how to get there ." Sometimes I wonder just what does she know or if it's some kind of power that I know nothing about. I might have to ask her about later but I'm sure as hell not going to let this go damn she's to good. I was brought from my thoughts when Iceblood said "Your right Jackie that's all she needs but she also needs to know how to trust her powers you of all people should know that." Am I missing something here? I decided to say something "Right so what do we do? I mean do we just go to a random place or what?" I really don't know what the place of piece and truth is. Then a again I do know what it is to, I remember mother saying something about it. I said "Wait I thing I might know where it is but I'm not sure if it's the same place we need to get back now." They looked at me and saw I was completely serious about it and said "Okay." I said "Thanks Mr.Smith." He smiled and nodded and we lift and the way back I decided to ask Jackie what's been bothering me "Hey Jackie?" She said "Yes, Rosebud what is it?" I asked "Can I ask you something?" She said "Of course you can you." I said "Okay just don't get mad okay?" She nodded and I said "Do you have sort of power that I don't know about?" She said "Maybe, why?" I thought for a minute and said "Because it seems like you know what I'm goin through before I say anything to anyone or what I'm talking about or who I'm talking to." She doesn't say anything I start to worry but then she says "Yeah, it's my power but it's going to be helpful on the battlefield." She sights, I said "Maybe, maybe not it depends on how you look at I guess.". Before we know it we're home, I said "Iceblood go see if my father and Kaydda is out back, Jackie go see if Kim and the the other three are done with my bedroom door please?" They nodded Iceblood said "What about you? Where are you going?" I said "I need to talk to someone about something, okay?" They nodded and went to do the tasks I gave them and went to go find mother. When I found her, she was at the dinning room table drinking coffee and when see looked up and saw me she smile and said "I thought you were with your father everything okay?" I said "I was but then I was told some things and I had to get them straighted out so I want to write them down and then Iceblood came and told me something that somehow made sense and then Lea and Mia decided to breakdown my bedroom door which I told them that their going to fix and then me, Jackie, and Iceblood went to go see Mr.Smith and even though it wasn't much but he was some help to us." She was listening carefully and I think she knows what I'm trying to say and said "Okay now that much is out of the way now I need to know what you where told to make complete sense and know how to help you." I said "Okay
I was told about a prophecy, a legendary sword, and a power I didn't even know I had, and finally I think I remember you talking about a place that I need to be to ulock said power." As I finished she looked deep in thought and said "The place of piece and truth you mean?" I looked up and nodes she smiled and said "I know where it is but I need to know what you plan on doing after you unlock your power." I understood what she was asking I said "Wait until I need them or if I can only use it when nassarey by that I mean a life or death situation but nothing more, nothing less." I was looking her straight in the eyes and I couldn't believe what I was see mother had a look of pride in her eyes and for the first time I know I made the right choice in words. She said "Okay now listen closely okay because you need to know this okay?" I nodded and listen very closely to what she said. As soon as she finished I was shocked that I had to go through the forest of death but that was it now I know where to go and how to get there the only problem was when but then I thought the sooner the batter so I asked "When should I go? Even though father doesn't want me to go alone and I agree with him on this one." She said "Depends on who's going with you." I said "Don't get made but Iceblood apparently he's the best choice seeing how he maybe able to help which my back. But my only question is how do I unlock my power?" She said "I'm glad you ask because trusting your power means you have to use them to save you oaky?" I nodded now I understand what it means to trust them I had to ask "So you're not upset that you're only dauther is going to be with someone she bearly knows to help her unlock her powers?" She shook her head and said "You might not know him but I do you probably don't remember but then again it happened when you where very young." It? What happened? I'll ask her another time but right now I need to go and tell Iceblood about where we need to go and how to get there but first I need to see how my new door is coming along. So I stood up and said "Think you for everything mother I need to see how my new door is coming along now." She nodded and I lift and went upstairs and saw that they were nowhere to be seen I went to look for them and as soon as I found them they said "We fixed you're door and everything! We swear!" I said "Well that's good, we will talk about that when I come back, got it?" They said "Got it." I nodded and lift and went back down and out the door to find Iceblood and tell him everything and then plan on everything. As soon as I found him he was talking more like yell at Kyle again oh boy wounded what happened? As soon as I got close I saw father holding Kaydda back so I asked "What happened?" He said "Well Iceblood told us what happened and said you went to talk to someone but I knew you went to talk to your mother anyway as soon as he finished Kyle was it?" I nooded and said "I think I understand what happened." Father shook his head and said "Maybe." I said "I know that Kyle most likely started it and Iceblood didn't like what he said what was mostly about me judging by the way you're holding Kaydda back from probably killing him." He nodded but Kaydda said "Not kill, murder, I'm going to murder him if you're father ever let's me go." I said "All the more reason not to let you go I'm going to stop them now okay?" They nodded and I walked up to Kyle and said "Back off and leave I have no time to put up with you're jealous ass right now. But if you're looking for a fight then let's go here and now." He looked me in the eyes and. Knew I was serious about fighting him, he said "Okay, let's go here and now no backing down." I knew he wouldn't back down so I used that to my advantage and used his hotheadedness against him.
Two hours later and I'm not even tired, Kyle on the other hand was very tired and nearly passed out
On the ground and I said "Now you know why I'm better suited for being the best in the village then you are and more importantly I have more respect for everyone else then you do." He looked at me and I knew he would be back but not for a while but I had more important things to do now I said to Kaydda "Can you take him home and explain to his parents what happened and please don't do anything that will cause him more harm then what I already did okay." She nodded and lift to take him home I turn to Iceblood
And said "We need to go now I know where to go and how to get there and what to do when we get there so we need to go there."
