Ronnie's POV :

I ring the door bell for the third time now. Why isn't she opening the door? Yes, our one month is over but that doesn't mean she can neglect opening the door. I sighed and took out my key to unlock the door. I opened the door and went inside.

"Caitlin!! Caitlin!!"I called out getting in.
She isn't answering. Maybe she decided to come late as she is no longer my slave.

I sat on the couch smiling. Keys!!! I lift the keys lying on the coffee table...it's the keys that Cait used to have. Why are these keys here? Did she forget them?
I kept the keys back on the table. Paper!! What's this paper? I took the paper and opened it. It looks like a note.

I read it....Ronnie...our one month is finally over. I have paid back for your watch's repair. You have given my watch back to me. Now, I am not your personal slave anymore and we don't have anything to do with each other. So, I am leaving this house. Sorry for not informing you in person......Caitlin.

What's this??? What does this mean??? She just left??? I got up from the couch tensed. I don't know what to do....I can't think about anything. What...what should I do???

I put my hand in my pocket to get my phone. Something is there in my pocket...I took it out. Letter!! It's the letter that Cait gave me in the office. I opened it. Resignation letter???!!!! She resigned!!!!! How can she do this?? I thought she loves me... then... what's all this about????

I can't let this happen. I have to go and talk to her. I have to tell her about my feelings. This can't end here like this. She must be at her uncle's house. I will go and talk to her. NOW!!!

Caitlin's POV :

"Cait, you seem sad to me. Is everything okay?"uncle asked me.
I looked at him surprised.
"Everything....everything is fine. It's just the movie. It's such a sad and emotional story. That's it."I lied.
He nodded.

We are watching a movie...a sad one..because I wanted to see one. I can't hide my sadness from uncle so I thought of hiding it by watching a sad movie.

"I am seeing you wearing your watch after such a long time."uncle said smiling.
I looked at my watch and smiled. Ronnie really treasured my watch well. Ronnie...I miss him...I want to see him...just thinking about his name makes my heart hurt.

"This movie is too sad, I can't watch anymore. I will make something to eat for both of you."auntie said getting up from the couch.
We both nodded.

Ding dong....
The door bell rang.

"I will get it."I said and got up.

I opened the door and looked at him shocked. He is standing infront of me. Ronnie!!! What is Ronnie doing here??
I don't know what to say or how to react, I am too shocked!!!

"Here, take my watch and break it."he said giving me the watch.

I looked at him shocked and then at the watch in his hand.

"What???"I said shocked.
"Yes, take and break it. You broke my watch and that led us to be together. If breaking a watch can bring us together then just break it."he said.
"Ronnie...I don't understand what you are saying."I said confused.

He sighed and got down on his knees. I looked at him shocked. What....what..is he doing? Why..on...on his knees?

"Cait, I will just say this directly. I don't know when and how, but...I have fallen for you. I...I love you, Cait. Marry me."he said opening a ring box.

I just stared at him shocked. What is going on? He...he is..he is confessing...I can't believe my eyes..I can't believe my ears!! Am..am I dreaming???
If he is confessing to me then what was that..that I saw in the office with Bella?

"Cait!! What are you thinking?"he asked nervously.
"What about Bella? You love her, right?"I asked confused.
"NO!!!! She and I..we both are just friends. She is my childhood friend and also my best friend. That's it! There is nothing more than friendship between us."he said seriously.
"But, the rumours about both of you..."I was saying when he sighed and said, "That...we both have a deal since we were young that is to help each other when we want to break up with someone or get out of any marriage proposals brought by our parents and for that we portray as lovers. But in reality we are just friends."
"Then, what was that..what I saw?"I said irritated.
Just thinking about the time when I saw them together makes me angry.
"That was just my plan...to make you..to make you jealous. I wanted to make you fall in love with me so, I thought of this plan to make you jealous and Bella was just helping me. And moreover, Bella is getting married to her fiancé Andrew on the 17th of next month."he said nervously.

So, he wanted to make me fall in love with him!! He did all this for me!!! I am so happy that he feels the same as me. I started laughing.
He looked at me confused.

I too bent on my knees. He looked at me surprised.

"You did all this just to make me fall for you? I was already in love with you, even before I realised."I said looking in his eyes.
His eyes brightened.
"You...you..you really love me?"he asked.
"Yes!! Yes, I love you and I will marry you."I said smiling.
"Really!! I am so happy."he said smiling.
I smiled.

He took my hand and placed the ring on my finger. We both looked in each other's eyes.

"Watch?"he said.
I looked at him confused then I realised he is talking about my watch. He still remember what uncle told him about my watch.
I smiled and gave him my watch.
He took it smiling and wore it.

"I promise that I will treasure it and you."he said and cupped my face with his hands.
He brought his face close to mine and looked in my eyes.
"I love you, Cait!"he said.
"I love you too."I said and smiled.
He smiled and kissed me passionately.
I am so happy...I never imagined this..this will happen.

"Who is it, Cait?"I heard uncle saying from inside.
"Paul, she will come back."auntie said to uncle.
"Let me see why she is taking so long to come back."I hear uncle coming close.

We broke from our kiss and looked at each other nervously.

"What's going on here?"uncle asked coming towards us. We both got to our feets nervously.
"Paul, she will come back herself."auntie said walking behind him.

"Ronnie?? You are here? Cait, why are you both standing here? Why didn't you invite him in?"uncle asked confused.
"Maybe, they have something that they wanted to talk in private."auntie said.

I bite my lower lip nervously and Ronnie is looking at me smiling. How can he smile at a time like this?

"Wait a minute...you knew that Ronnie was here?"uncle asked auntie.
"I..I saw his car coming, from the window and when they didn't come inside, I thought that they must have something to talk about, alone."auntie said smiling nervously.
Uncle looked at her confused then looked at us and then his eyes widened.

"That...that watch...it's Cait's watch!!"uncle said surprised.
I looked at Ronnie tensed. But, he is still smiling.

"Yes, it is."Ronnie said smiling.
"Do you both have something to tell me?"uncle asked folding his hands.
"Mr. Snow, I love Cait and she loves me too. And I want to marry her. I promise, I will always keep her happy like you have and will treasure her and the watch forever."Ronnie said confidently.
Uncle nodded and looked at me. I looked at him nervously.
"Cait, do you love him?"uncle asked me smiling.
I looked at him and smiled.
"Yes. I love him. Sorry, I didn't tell you about this."I said.
"I didn't mind that. I just want you to be happy."he said hugging me.
I smiled. He placed a kiss on my head.

Uncle really loves me so much. He only care about my happiness.
I looked at auntie who was smiling. I smiled too.

"Ronnie!!"uncle said breaking from the hug.
I looked at uncle tensed.
"Yes, Mr. Snow."Ronnie said.
"First, stop calling me Mr. Snow. Call me uncle like Cait does."uncle said smiling.
"Yes, Mr. Snow. I mean, uncle."Ronnie said smiling.
"Second, come on inside. I don't like my future son-in-law standing at the door."uncle said smiling and we all went inside.

Everything is perfect. Now, that Ronnie and Caitlin got together and their relationship is also approved, what will their future be like?
