Tainted Love

Chapter 1

Autumn
I just sat there with my head in my knees as I replayed the night's events. I just remember Cameron telling me it's over and all I could do was sit there and cry as he walked away and it was the day before my birthday, MY BIRTHDAY. I walked home alone that night thinking about it. Cameron and I were best friends and he was my first true love, we have been dating for almost 2 years but he just said he just said it was over. When I got home I didn't even bother getting out of my dress, I just kicked off my heels and jumped in bed to cry myself to sleep.

The next morning I woke up to my phone ringing. I turned to see who it was, it was my best friend Alexa. I answered to her screaming into the phone saying,
"ARE YOU OKAY??"
"Yeah I'm fine why?"
"I heard about last night..about Cameron dumping you"
"You already know?"
"Basically the whole school knows"
I sighed as tears welled up in my eyes, fighting them back I told her..
"Hey I gotta go I will call you later okay?"
There was a moment of silence and the she slowly responded
"Okay...I'm here if you need me Autumn....bye"
Then I heard the line click off.

The rest of the day I just sat there and wondered how already the whole school knew about the breakup. I felt the tears coming back but I fought them off again. I went back to bed and slept the rest of the day and night.
