Okay. So before I get into anything major, I guess I better tell you just exactly what you're getting into. And I figure that the best way to do that is to give some kind of introduction. So here goes. And if by the time I'm done, you still want to journey on into my life and that kinda junk, by all means, go straight ahead. But you're being warned up front. So don't give me any crap about it later on.

Let's start this story with a little bit of history.

25 years ago, an alien race called the Klaen (or as they called themselves, the Pruomians) came to Earth, with hopes of what they believed to be their new rebirth. They claimed that they were nothing more than mere explorers, like Christopher Columbus, searching for a world better than their own. They offered new technology, foods, weapons and protection from other planets with forces far greater than anything we could ever hope to accomplish on Earth. And world leaders, being the diplomats they were, decided to make some sort of treaty. This allowed the Klaen to come onto our land and be our equals as long as they provided protection and essentially power, need the time ever came that we had to defend ourselves against other unknown species.

They set up their headquarters in the middle of Europe, in England and spread-out until they reached all corners of the Earth. For a while, everything seemed to be going just fine. The Klaen seemed to blend right in with the civilians of Earth. They were everywhere. At malls, restaurants, schools. The government... well, they didn't really care about the Klaen. To the government, they were a specimen to be observed and... experimented on. Dissected. But to the people, they were fascinating creatures that they wanted to learn more about. They were the things that seemed to blend right in to the Earth's customs. But after a while, no one seemed to really care about the Klaen. They were just things that people could gawk at and preserved. They seemed so perfect. And at first glance, they almost seemed... human. Too human. By the time that scientists started to study the Klaen properly, they came up with the realization that the Klaen were from the same origin. And that the Klaen were more evolved, or as they liked to put it, “the perfected result of a failing species.” And that was the start of the entire problem.

As days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months, the Klaen became more and more involved. More advertised. They would spread nonsense about how they can make the world a better place. 'Pmequrojto kequol. Umja cho Klaen ura pmequot,' they would always say. It means 'Knowledge is power. And the Klaen is all knowing.' They made us believe that they were the answers to all our prayers, the key in making us the best civilization in the history of the world- or in this case the universe.

The Klaen seemed to get more comfortable in being in our planet. The children had friends and the adults became more familiar with the public, or to be exact, the press. They became more popular with the people. Children became class leaders and the adults had jobs. But it seemed okay. Earthlings just thought that the Klaen made a new deal with the government to enable getting more involved with the people in return for more protection. But the government was so foolish. So naive. They didn’t even notice that the things they needed the most protection from was the Klaen themselves.

Two years later, the Klaen seemed to be a part of normal life. For the people of Earth, it would be strange not to see Klaen everywhere they went. The only time the Klaen wasn't around was on one day when all the government officials and the Klaen would go up in their spaceship. No one knew what would happen between them up there. But all anyone knew was that the next day the government officials would always make an announcement, giving more donations to the 'Klaen cause.' Whatever the hell those donations were I don't know. But no one thought anything of it. No one really cared. Until a year after.

It seemed that the Klaen were increasing, and growing in numbers. But that's not even the weird part. Around that time, humans would start going missing. And as more humans disappeared, more Klaen showed up. But still there were no questions. No skepticism. Just blind agreement, thinking that the Klaen was blameless as always.

Humans still kept disappearing. More and more by the day. Thankfully, people started to get suspicious. Word got around that the Klaen weren't who they appeared to be. People thought that on the ship they were experimenting on humans, or even turning us into one of them. Thankfully and finally people began to lose trust in the all- amazing Klaen. And that sure as hell made them angry.

Earth may not have been perfect, but at least it wasn't alien occupied. People would fill the streets, filled with laughter and the occasional mugging. But still, it was earth. We had lively animals, perfectly tended gardens and a whole lot of happiness. But then the Klaen changed everything. Everything seemed duller, no one seemed to have life in them anymore. The grass grew brown, dry, brittle. All the leaves on the once rich brown trees, fell to the barren ground, almost like the trees were crying out, begging to be saved from the horrible fate the Klaen had given us. Being grown into the hellhole, I can only live off the stories from my mother. But damn, it seemed like a great place to live. And to think of how things have changed..... From a world full of life to a barren land riddled with brainwashed humans and evil, controlling aliens.

But hold on.

This is getting too long for me to tell, because frankly I'm too busy trying to save the whole freakin' world to tell you the entire history about how we became enslaved by an alien race. To make a long, long, long story short, I'll leave it at this; we got overpowered. A lot of humans went into hiding but most were captured, put to work as slaves. They didn't need to brainwash us anymore. We knew that the Klaen wasn't the almighty saviors that we were led to believe. They ruled us with an iron fist, in a complete and total totalitarianistic way. Humans tried to live as modest as they could, in fear of the Klaen and in fear of their malicious force that stopped them from rebelling. But although the Klaen were horrible people, the government wasn't exactly blameless. If the humans knew the whole truth, they might even think that they were just as bad as the Klaen. I mean, after all.

They were the ones who brought them here.

Author's Note

How was that guys? I know I'm not the best but I try. This chapter and the next chapter coming was just gonna be how we were enslaved by aliens and a little bit about her background. The next chapter is gonna have a little bit of drama, so sit tight

If you're reading this, you are AMAZING!!!! Leave a comment so I can know how bad I did!!!! I'm not even gonna ask to vote because I know that never in a million years will I win. Just knowing your opinion is good enough for me. As long as it's not hurtful. Hurtful things are mean.

Oh, and I want to set up some goals to see how good this book is going before I update more stuff, but since I have such low self-esteem, I'd say...
