Okay, this chapter is incredibly short, and I'm rly sorry, but I wanted to at least give you guys SOMETHING. so yeah. here ya go! :)
Curt was the first to arrive, dressed as batman, with Kimberly as Cat woman. It was cute. Soon Dom and Titus showed up and Riker went off to talk with his warblers. Soon the party was in full swing and everyone was dancing and having fun. Soon, it was 11:30 and Mark turned on the TV, getting ready for the upcoming countdown. Ross came over to the couch where I was sitting, talking to Laura and Raini, who had come dressed as superheroes. He handed me some punch and sat down next to me, across from the girls.
“Hey” He said to them, and they were soon talking about something on set or whatever. Not that I was paying attention anyway. It just now hit me what I was a part of now. I was a part of the family that does like everything together. I can go to concerts and help Ryland or sell merch for R5, I can go on set and hang out in his dressing room with his brothers and Rydel. I was so excited. “You okay?” Ross whispered to me. I looked up, awoken from my daydream. I nodded smiling and leaning my head on his shoulder.
And before I knew it, it was 11:58. Everyone gathered around the TV, waiting for it to be midnight. Ross grabbed my hand, pulling me to the side, by the stairs.
“FIVE” The crowd began to shout. “FOUR” I looked to Ross, smiling and cheering along. “THREE” “TWO” “ONE” We finished and everyone cheered, and Ross leaned in and kissed me. A few seconds later we separated.
“Happy new years baby” He said, brushing back a piece of my hair. I smiled as his siblings came over and took him away to play a few songs.
“Well, it’s been a crazy year. I’m glad I could spend it with these dorks, and all of you. Here’s to another amazing year with even more amazing people” Riker said before the first song, looking at me at the end. I cheered along with everyone. They sang a few songs, and then we turned up the radio and all went out to dance. It was about 3 am and a lot of the people had headed home, and I took Ross upstairs to wash off the makeup off of both of us. We changed and then headed back downstairs. Just as we came down, Riker came up to me.
"Can you help me get this stuff off my face? I asked Rydel but she just laughed in my face, and I don't want to be this color for the rest of my life...." Riker said. I laughed and nodded, dragging him upstairs and helping him out. Then he changed and went back downstairs. And soon the rest of the boys came up and I had to help them get cleaned up. Then I went back down and sat on the couch and curled up with Ross, falling asleep just like that....
