Approach jammy dodger and try to hold a discussion, centre the discussion about a topic which you can expand on without it running dry like the Sahara desert. Say for example, tv shows, on the off chance that you both have a TV show that you both love you can talk about your favourite characters, discuss crack pot theories about future plot lines. Etc.

There is always the possibility that you will be rejected and if you approach jammy dodger with the fear of possibly getting rejected, it will seep into your mannerisms and body language and that is what you will project.

Stemming on from that, you need to relay a sense of confidence to jammy dodger and this is all portrayed through your body language and posture. Sit up straight, look her directly in her eyes and don't ever hunch. Sometimes when people are nervous its common for their voices to go up an octave, try to avoid this and make what you do slow and deliberate with casual indifference.

It can be very easy to slip into that mind-set where you lie in order to forge the same interests and opinions as jammy dodger in a bid to make her interest in you rise and potentially make them like you more. But trust me, this will almost always lead to a slip up and that consequently leads a spiralling hole of lies that you ultimately will not be able to keep up with. Inevitably, making you look like a fool, which you don't want.
N E G A T I V E H I T
This isn't an insult, it ends on a sort of positive note and is a way of letting her know you're not a pushover. Don't kill them with compliments, it gets a bit weird after a while.
B E Y O U R S E L F
There's no point in being a pretender and wearing a mask when you're with jammy dodger, if she's even half good enough for you, she will accept you for who you are. You need to show her your purest form, just be yourself.
