Eventually I had to get back to work, and I had a performance on a show. My relationship with Delta was going smoothly, and she kept her promise to never leave me. Which was why she sat with me while I was getting my hair done.

"So how long have you known my Jessie?" Cassidy asked, wrapping my hair around the curling iron.

"For a few weeks," Delta answered.

"How did you meet?"

"Um...at a club," Delta blushed, making me giggle at her. "I got her, uh, a little drunk. And...you know what happens next."

"So you had sex before you even got to know each other?" Cassidy chuckled.

"We talked," I defended. "While she got me drunk. She told me I 'had to loosen up'. Can you believe that?"

"Actually, I can."

I rolled my eyes at them as they laughed.

"It's okay, baby," Delta said. "I wouldn't want you any other way."

She came to give me a kiss on my cheek, but I turned so she could kiss me on my lips instead. Cassidy awed, causing us to pull away from smiling.

"So, you're her girlfriend?" Cassidy asked.

"Yes," Delta immediately said before looking at me. "I mean, no. We're just...dating."

It was cute how she considers me to be her girlfriend right off the bat. And how she goes back and stutters.

"You're so cute, baby," I giggled.

"Ooooh! You're on the 'baby' stage! But I have to warn you, Delta, Jessie falls hard. And most times, with the wrong people."

"She knows that," I brushed off while lovingly gazing at Delta.

"I mean it. I don't want you to get hurt again, Jessie."

"I'm sure Delta won't hurt me. Will you, baby?"

"Never," Delta assured. She reached over and took my hand in hers. "You're too special for that, Jess. I like you, a lot."

"I like you, too."

Cassidy was finished with my hair, and she walked out. Delta stood and came closer to me.

"You're so beautiful, Jess."

"Thank you. But not as beautiful as you."

Right now, being with Delta, I felt like a lovesick puppy. Well, a likesick puppy, since I'm not in love with her. Not that I know of. But I'm feeling like I'm falling hard for the blonde goddess. And I can't help that she's such a good person to me.

Speaking of, she was walking over to my vanity, looking at all my make-up. "I don't see why you wear this stuff. You're too beautiful. I, on the other hand, especially need it."

"Shut up, you liar!"

Delta rolled her eyes playfully as I got on my social media. Somehow, nobody's spotted us. Not even when we were at her house together. It's a miracle, honestly.

I heard rattling, then Delta say my name. I looked up and almost gasped. In her hand was a bottle of medicated pills. I was about to panic, but soon remembered what they were for.

"Babe, those are anti-depressants," I explained. "I was prescribed them from Autumn."

"What?" She asked.

"I went to a doctor for a short time, and he gave me these. But when I took them, I felt worse than I was. I couldn't eat or anything. I felt like I was losing my mind. So I stopped taking them."

"You weren't...you weren't planning to...overdose on them, were you?"

I adverted my eyes. I couldn't lie to her, because plenty of times I thought about that. Killing myself so I could be happy again. But then Delta came along, and she's somehow managed to turn my world right side up again.

Cool fingers turned my face so I could gaze into blue eyes. "You're not going to do it. I know you're not. I won't let you."

I saw her slide the bottle into her pocket, and I suddenly felt disappointed in myself. There I was, about to commit suicide in my moment of weakness. And I sung songs about loving yourself, and saved my fans from doing the exact thing I was planning to do. I was ashamed of myself.

She lifted my face up again, and I didn't know how or when I dropped my head. "I know Autumn meant so much to you, but you can't take your life for some girl. Think about your fans, your family, you friends. Me. We wouldn't last a second without you."

Delta gave me a small smile. I leaned in to catch her lips in a kiss. I wanted this woman to be mine. There's no way we can just be "dating" anymore. I wanted to proudly call her my girlfriend, not caring who objects or anything.

"Delta?" I questioned, pulling away.

"Yes, baby?"

"Um..." I started to get shy again, and I cursed myself for it. "Would you...uh,  would you please...um, please be my, uh, girlfriend?"

"You're so cute," she murmured, kissing my forehead. "Yes, I'll be your girlfriend, Jess."

"Really?"

Delta nodded, moving so she was sitting on my lap, legs on either side of me. She chuckled at my hot face before leaning in to kiss me again. My hands went to her waist, going over the pill bottle in her pocket. She was cupping my face when a loud bang sounded, and we both jumped.

"Oh...sorry, Jess. But you're ready in five. I'm just gonna...yeah."

I heard the door close and Delta started to giggle from my lap, since I held on tight to her. My face was on fire as Delta climbed off and helped me up.

"How is this funny?" I asked, looking in the mirror at myself.

"Because it just is! With the risk of someone walking in, then getting caught, and your face! Baby, it was just priceless!"

I pouted when she came up behind me and kissed my cheek. "Oh come on! If you saw it, you would laugh too."

"Whatever. Now let me go so I can perform."

"I'll never let you go," she seriously said to me.

I turned to I could face her. She wasn't smiling or anything. But I cracked a smile and pulled her hand as I began walking out the door.

"When are we going to announce it?" Delta asked as we laid on my bed, eating pieces of cake from yesterday.

"Announce what?" I questioned.

"Us being a couple. We don't have to do it right away, if you don't want."

"Um...I don't know," I truthfully answered. "We've just got together today. I think it'll be too soon."

"Whatever you say, baby." She kissed my forehead, and I felt myself blush.

"Stop it!"

"Stop what?"

"Making me blush and get all flustered! It's frustrating how I can't control my feelings or reactions when I'm around you, Delta!"

The blonde giggled at me, and my face heated up even more.

"Well if it makes you feel better, you make my heart beat fast too," she said after she calmed down.

I was about to argue, but closed my mouth. My mind went back to the night we stayed at her house and watched movies. Her heart was beating faster than normal. She was just as nervous as I was.

Her lips touched my forehead before she grabbed our plates. "We need to get to bed, baby."

A/N: According to the little pill part, I realized that this story isn't as bright and happy as I intended it to be.
