Chapter 8: I Hate My Weakneses, They Made Me Who I Am

"everything will be fine!" I said "how do you fucking know!!?? Huh!?" She asked and silence filled the air. After a moment I opened my mouth to speak "That's what I thought..." she said and started to walk back. God I really fucked up this time...

----Riddick's POV----

I woke up on the ground and got up slowly, sure I wasn't in great condition, but you could say pain and I are old friends. I looked around, and for some reason I was worried. Worried about that girl. Why you ask? Well...I have no fucking idea.

Something was different about her... no not that way you judgemental prick. I couldn't see her anywhere, and my stomach probably did a backflip if that was possible. Why was I so worried about this god damn girl?

I then sensed someone behind me and turned around, and was greeted by a fist and fell to the floor. I looked up after a moment to see who the fist belonged to. Well at least she's okay, it was the girl and she was furious. Gotta admit she looked kinda crazy. She had blood leaking from her mouth a bit and she had her fists balled up, and her eyes glowed as she stared at me.

And once again I thought

Why did I care about this girl?
If I wanted, I could kill her right now. But at the same time I couldn't.

"LOOK WHAT YOU CAUSED!" she yelled, taking me out of my thoughts "This is all your fault!!" I could usually read people easily, but I couldn't tell if she was angry or close to tears.

She then pulled out her knife and threw it towards me and I caught it, enough of this little girls bullshit. I got up and walked towards her, but she surprisingly wasn't scared at all, I think.

I swung the knife at her and she ducked and then grabbed my arm and twisted it until I dropped the knife. she then pushed me away and grabbed the knife.

----Roxys POV----

"I'f you want to kill me so bad then do it" I said and dropped the knife. I honestly didn't care anymore and I was just curious as to why he still isn't fighting me now. "Well?" I asked and he looked down and the pulled out a knife. The knife was weird, Curved with holes in it, but I feel like I've seen it before.

Well maybe I shouldn't have said anything because um...that looked quite painful. He looked at the blade then looked at me, then back at the blade

"you scared? I thought you were big ol' tough murder Riddick. What happened to that!?" I said. He then swung the knife at me. Well goodbye world...

but then..

He stopped...

The blade might have been less than an inch away from my face. Riddick focused on the blade and so did I, considering it was so close to my face.

He then dropped the knife and I jumped back a little "I..." Riddick stuttered but never finished his sentence "you can't?" I asked and he shook his head, now I was curious "why? Who do you think I am?" I asked and Riddick growled at me and kept walking and I stopped.

Riddck then went and sat down on a rock and I went and sat on the floor a good distance away

~~~~Flashback~~~~
Me & a guy, who I couldn't connect a name to, were running through some kind of jungle, I then stopped and collapsed, I couldn't run anymore, I was beaten and bruised, the guy stopped and looked back at me and ran over, kneeling down "we need to keep moving, those guys are chasing us" he said "i- I can't..." I said and coughed "yes you can, please sis, please. I- I don't wanna leave you here" he said and I tried to stand, but automatically fell back onto my knees "just go, you need to go now!" I said. He then kissed my forehead "I have to go, I...we'll meet again someday, I promise. Love ya sis" he had tears in his eyes but made sure not to cry "l- lo- love ya too bro"I said and he ran away as I hid by some bushes, I felt bad but I couldn't go any farther and we were just kids, he couldn't carry me. I struggled to hold in tears as I saw some kind of officers run on the direction my brother did. I pulled me knees up to my chest and tried to stay as quiet as possible...
