I woke up to the sound of my annoying alarm clock,"ugh" I say rolling over to press the snooze button. I get up from my bed taking a good 5 seconds to process what was happening. "Dad!" I yelled expecting a response, but then again I really don't understand why since he's always at work and at meetings. I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth, putting my hair up in a bun in the process. I wonder what ray is doing I think to myself. Ray was my best friend for a year now, he was always there for me. I decided to go downstairs and call him. " Anais! It's been like 5 days" I giggle at his ridiculousness. " yeah, hey what are you doing today? Dad's at work with this band and I'm bored." I say reading off of the note he left on the table. "Come over and we can go shopping" he said excitedly. "I'll be over in 15" he said and I heard him grab his keys and close the door. "Love you ray!" I yelled before hanging up.
I went upstairs and took a quick shower putting my hair in a ponytail and putting on a pair jeans with vans and a plain white tee. I looked out my window and saw Ray waving at me to come outside. "I missed you, you butt" he said starting the car. "I saw you 5 days ago, stupid" I said laughing and punching him lightly on the arm. "Have you met the band your dad is working with?" He said turning into the freeway."All I know is that they're called 5 seconds of summer" I said putting my feet up on my dashboard. " but dad said that he wants me to meet them" I said rolling my eyes. " you should, maybe they're cute" he said playfully. "I hate you ray" I said puling his hair and laughing "psh whatever."
