After last night with Edward and Harry both being dicks and now Brooke won't stop asking me about them I have already had enough for the day.
"Just tell me."
"Nothing happened."
Brooke lays down on her bed and turns to me.
"You're lying. Something always happens with these boys. It's just how it is."
"Well nothing interesting happened last night. Edward took me to a stupid club and Harry was being a jerk. Which I've come to see that that's all he is."
She's quick to roll her eyes and say "He just chooses what people to open up to and what people not to. And as for Edward, going to the club is pretty PG for his idea of a date."
"It doesn't matter anymore Brooke. I'm gonna go get some food do you want to come or not?"
"Okay, okay, and no Zayn and I are holding out for tonight."
Part of me wants to know what's going tonight, but the other part
-meaning my stomach- gets the best of me and I start down the hall to the cafeteria.
Choosing between a salad and a meatball sandwich is pretty hard right now. I'm starving after sleeping through breakfast, no thanks to Edward's late return, but it's healthier to eat salads.
"Are you gonna pick or just stand there?"
I turn and see Liam looking at me, smiling.
I chuckle and say "I can't decide."
"I can see. Get the meatball sandwich, you can afford the change." He says sweetly, while he grabs one for himself.
After I give in to both Liam and my growling stomach, we pay then make our way to the table we sat at yesterday.
"So how was your first day?"
I unwrap the saurian wrap around the sandwich, and say "Um, pretty different from what I thought it'd be like."
He chuckles with a mouth full then swallows and says "How so?"
Telling Liam everything from who my roommate is and that I went on a date with a guy him and Brooke told me to stay away from, will definitely make him judge me. But one I didn't pick my roommate and two I was unwillingly put on a date with Edward.
"Uh it just didn't go as fully planned as I thought." I sigh. "How was your first day?" He chuckles and says "I think you forgot, that wasn't my first day of college." I smile and say "Right, it slipped my mind." He laughs and we both look down at our food.
Wow is there really nothing to talk about?
Right on cue Kim walks up and says "Hey Jessica, right?"
I smile politely and say "Yeah."
She sets her hands on the table and I see Liam shift. "Do you want to come sit with us?"
She points to the table and I see the whole 'group' -minus Zayn and Brooke- sitting there. Edward and Harry are both staring at me and My palms get sweaty because the thought of them just looking at me for a long time creeps me out.
"Um, no actually I'm here with Liam." I say putting my arm around Liam to make it look like we're actually socializing before she walked up but Liam only glances up.
Kim shoots Liam a weird 'you creep' look and Liam looks away.
"Well Edward said he wants you over there, and you know him when he doesn't get what he wants." She says in what sounds like a pleading tone.
