Allie POV•
It was April fifth and I was hanging out with my best friend Jessica. We were obsessing over her boyfriends new haircut. I mean I wasn't really because that would be weird but she was in love with it so I had to pretend to be.
"Hey so there's a party at the end of the block.. Wanna go?"
"Jess, you know I have to do some school work. And my mom would never agree to it."
"Come on Allie. You never do anything fun. Just go with Taylor and I. It'll be fun! You can do your homework tomorrow."
"I'll think about it. I'll text you later I gotta go."
"Whatever loser."
I got up from her driveway and started walking home. I've never really been the party type. I'm actually trying to graduate high school. We literally have one more month and we can't mess up now.
I walked into my house and saw my mom and brother arguing about something.
"Aaron just stop yelling. You're just gonna make it worse." I told my twin brother and he rolled his eyes.
I don't even understand why he always fights with her. It's stupid. He always looses anyway.
"Mom?"
"What?"
"Can I go out with Taylor and Jessica tonight?"
"To a party?"
"Yeah..."
"Allison Marie Carpenter! You know better! No you cannot!"
"But mom!"
"No but moms. Now go to your room."
I rolled my eyes and walked up the stairs. I knew she was going to say no. I don't even know why I asked her. I laid on my bed studying when my window opened.
"Babe what are you doing here?" I asked Jack going over to him.
"You're not go to Nash's party?"
"When has my mom ever let me do anything I wanted?"
"Come on just sneak out."
"Jack I can't baby."
"Okay well I'm going over with Johnson. I'll see you at school on Monday."
"Okay bye."
He slipped out of my window and I went over to Aaron's room.
"Wassup lil' sis?"
"One minute Aaron. You're older than me by one minute."
"It still counts."
"Whatever. Anyways I'm bored."
"Well I would say lets go out but I'm grounded."
"Why?"
"I failed my math test."
"Why didn't you ask me for help? Math is my strongest subject."
"Shut up" he said throwing a pillow at me.
"Let's go get fro-yo."
"I can't."
"You're missing out."
I grabbed my penny board and my wallet and headed down the stairs in my yoga shorts and my white sweatshirt.
"And where do you think you're going young lady?"
