Okay so Today Addy leaves for vacation and I'm not ready to be alone. I mean of course she'll only be gone for a week but, she's everything I got and I'm going to miss her.
Anyway, today I'm heading over to her house to help her pack for her trip.
"Makenzie", Addy calls me over to her closet. "Which dress should I pack for the beach?" "They both look fine to me," I replied. "Okay, but which one do you like better?" Addy says while laughing. "Um... The pink ombré one." I told her.
"Okay thanks" she says as she pack it in her suit case.
"Addy do you think you took long enough to to pack?" I said with a smile hours later "No" she replies sarcastically and laughing. "Hey, want to head to the pool?" I ask. "Sure" Addy replies.
"Can I borrow a swimming suit though, because I left mine at home and it'd be easier if we just left from your house?" I asked her. "Ya that's fine, just pick one you want to try on" Addy replies. "Okay thanks, I think I found one" I say back to her. "What one did you pick?" She asks me. "The Aqua one with silver polkadots." "I knew you'd pick that one" Addy says with a smile, "you ready to go?" I ask. "Ya lets go"
On our way out the door her mom says "where do you think your going Addy? We are leaving TONIGHT!!" "I'm just going to the pool with Makenzie before we leave." Addy replies back. "Okay but be back soon." Her mom says. "Okay we will" Addy responds. When we finally get to the pool we lay out our towels on the lawn chairs and lay down. "It feels so good to relax in the nice warm sun, doesn't it?" I ask Addy. "Yes" she replies. "Ahhhhhh" we suddenly shout at the same time. This little kid just splashed water on us! "Well I guess it was time for us to get in anyway" I said. Addy nodded her head. "Let's front flip in on the count of three, one, two three!" I say as we splash in the pool.
After a little while in the pool we decide to head back home, she drops me off on her way to her house. "Hi honey" my mom says as I walk in the door. "Hi mom" I say back. " how was your day?" She asks me. "Great" I replied with a smile. "I'm going to head to bed because its late. Night mom." I say. "Okay, night honey." My mom says back.
In my room I get a message from Addy saying they got left fine and are on their way to Florida.
