Dragon Mating Season(Given Away)

Rogue's POV-----------------------------
Lilith was explaining what was happening, but I couldn't concentrate on what she was saying, I was concentrating on her smell, it was like rain in a forest of willow trees and then also it kind of smelled like books and apples.

"-ogue Rogue!" Lilith said snapping her fingers in front of my face.

"Sorry." I said embarrassed by my spacing out.

"It's ok, so I was just explaining to the others what's going on. Do you not care?" She frowned at me while saying this.

"No, it's not that I don't care I was just getting lost in thought." I said hurriedly.

"Okay, so I said that Dragon Season has started, so we all are going to start having symptoms until we find our mate and...w-well do j-just th-that." She stuttered the last part.

At the thought of someone else and Lilith being together I got really angry for some reason 'you like her!' Screamed a little voice in the back of my mind.

"How will we know who our mate is?" Natsu questioned

"I've already guessed almost all of you guys mates, but before we ever mate we go through four stages that take us into the season." Lilith looked excited about the idea of couples getting together.

"Who are our mates?!" The other 6 yelled at Lilith.

"Wendy's is Romeo, Natsu's is Lucy, Gajeel's is Levy, Laxus-nii's is Mira, and Sting's is Yukino." Lilith listed of each pair counting on her fingers.

"What about me?" Cobra asked her.

"You know who she is." Lilith had creepy look in her eyes.They were all blushing crimson after she was done speaking.

"Wait what about you two?" Laxus asked us.

"I haven't met my mate yet."She sounded so sad I just wanted to hug her.

"Well what about Rogue-san?" Wendy asked.

"He hasn't acted stupid as far as I've seen, so he didn't meet his mate." She shrugged her shoulders to emphasize.

"What are the stages?" I asked while the others complained that they didn't act stupid.

"In the first stage you feel weak or tired around your mate, it varies. In stage two you start to get angry when anyone comes too close to your mate or they say something inappropriate to your mate, except other slayers that have their mate and people of you mates gender. In stage three you are still protective but you will also be very clingy and you'll have fluctuated emotions. In the fourth and final stage you mark your mate, after you mate with them and the season will end for you." She took a breath at the end and looked relieved to breath again.

After our talk we went to our own rooms to rest and think about this is silence, or in Natsu and Sting's case whisper about it while I sit in the corner listening to music on my phone and thinking about who my mate could be. My list so far was........no one. I had no one in mind that could possibly be even my girlfriend much less my, mate.

"Hey Rogue have any idea who your mate might be?" Sting asked from his bed that we had brought up to our room.

"Not a clue." I was distraught to say the least.

"Rogue-san should like Lilith," Frosh said from beside me," you and her would be cute together."

I started blushing like the others did when Lilith told them who their mates are. Sting and Natsu grinned at each other and said simultaneously "You liiiiiiike her!", I just sat here and glared at them.
