Everything in this chapter takes place after Lilith has explained everything to the boys.
??? POV----------------------------
Me and the others are going to the beach for a little while, but with the season I don't know what'll happen. I smell something familiar, the scent of rain and willow trees, it can't be...
"Lilith?" I whispered to myself. A girl across the street with distinctive dark blue hair looked at me and her face immediately lit up in a smile.
"Katherin! Is that you?!" She sounded happy to see me but, also confused as to why I was there.
"Lilith, it's been so long, how are you?" I asked hugging her.
"I'm doing well, you still a little shy?" She asked smile still on he face.I nodded my head in response.
"What are you doing here? You're usually either on a job or at your guild hall." She had come to see me a few times when she was in town after a job.
"Me and the other mermaids are vacationing here for the week." I answered, after I spoke her face lit up.
"What hotel are you staying at? Do you know about the season?" She questioned speedily.
"Lagoon Island Resort, and yes I know about the season." I blushed at the mention of mating season.
"I'm staying there too!" She was the same girl who I had ran into in the library that day, literally.
We went to the hotel together Lilith went back too her group and I caught up with the other Mermaid Heel members.
Lilith's POV-----------------------------------------------------
It was good to see Katherin again. I still remember the first time we met.
----FLASHBACK----
"Were is that book on Acnologia?" I asked aloud as I looked around the library in the town where Mermaid Heel was, my guild is in the mountains far north of here, but I came down when I was looking for books.
Suddenly, I ran into a girl with short purple hair and hot pink eyes that seemed to glow with a kindness, I looked at her right shoulder and saw a purple Mermaid Heel guild mark. She gave off a powerful aura of protectiveness, but also seemed shy and sweet-hearted. She wore a pink tank-top with a black treble clef on it and jean shorts, and to top off her amazing look she wore an awesome leather jacket that had a music note on it too.
"I'm so sorry!" we both said picking up books that lay scattered between us.
"Let me help you up since ran into you." I said giving her a kind smile since she seemed so shy.
"No it w-was my fault." She apologized.
"No it wasn't miss... I'm sorry what's your name?" I asked the timid mage.
"I'm Katherin Landif, music dragon slayer of the Mermaid Heel guild." She spoke softly, but smiled when she talked about her guild.
"I'm Lilith Midnight, dragon princess and member of the Shadow Moon guild." I was a little timid about telling her my name because people usually freak out.
"There you are Katherin, I was worried you forgot about me and left me here alone." A little dark purple and pink cat with a white Mermaid Heel mark said from behind Katherin.
"Sorry Crystal, I was talking to Lilith since I knocked her down when I turned the corner to look for more books." She spoke to her eceed.
"I knocked you down because I wasn't looking where I was going." I argued.
