Fallen Angels (Black Veil Brides fanfic)

First date... Interuppted

"Whoa there! Don't recognize your best friend?" The girl said, as she flipped some of her raven black hair away from her gorgeous face. With a shriek, I lunge and engulf her in the biggest hug I have ever given anyone.

"Willow!!! Ohmygods you're back! Why are you back!?" I scream with glee, probably making her ears ring.

Willow was my best friend, practically my sister and when she moved away a year ago, I thought the only way we would see each other again was by video chat! But here she was, standing flesh and blood in front of me! Her ice-like blue eyes gleaming with excitement, her black hair still as black as the night and her pale face was still as beautiful as I remember it to be.

"I'm here to see my sister again. Actually, I'm moving back! Mom got a new job after the divorce and it's in White Oak!" Willow's parents didn't feel a spark anymore with each other so they both agreed on a split about a month ago. I video chatted her every night for a week to try and console her. After awhile she started accepting it and we talked less and less.

"That's great. I'm so glad you're back Wil. It's been really hard without you and Brett." I admit and finally let her go, remembering why I'm actually here in the first place. Taking a quick peek around the area, I see Andy watching the encounter curiously but he's being polite and stayed out of earshot.

"I know, Dru. I just, I can't believe David would do that...." Willow sounded so sad and confused that I had to say something that would make her laugh again.

"Some people say it was the great sex that blew his top off." I laugh and get a bubble of the sweet thing I was looking for. We both knew I was definitely a pure soul, that's what made it so funny.

"Oh yeah totally. I bet it drove him wild." Willow jokes back, the sour mood that fell had finally dissipated and I felt it was easier to breathe. I took the arm of my best friend and lead her over to Andy.

Andy Pov

When I walked out of the changing station I saw Dru talking to another girl, looking very happy. Actually, that was the happiest I had literally ever seen her. It was a good look that really lit her features up and it seemed like she was glowing from the inside out. An involuntary smile crept its way onto my face.

A few minutes of Dru being very animated, the two of them started towards me. I was glad Dru was happy but kinda peeved that the supposed date had been interrupted.

"Andy, meet Willow. My best friend as of twelve years ago. Willow, meet Andy... My uh sorta boyfriend?" Dru tossed a questioning look towards me and my mind registered what she had said. Boyfriend.. With a nod and charming smile, I reach out a hand to Willow. She was pretty, without a doubt, but I only had eyes for the one I brought here.

"It's nice to meet you, Willow. I'm-"

"Andy from Black Veil Brides. I recognize you. Why are you in a quiet town like White Oak?" The girl questions and offers me a small smile, barely flashing her sparkling white teeth.

"I needed a change of pace. The band life gets kind of... Hectic at best." I tell her with a grin. I didn't really like the crisp way she talked, it was almost like she didn't care what you said so long as she looked polite.

"I would believe so! I mean, tons of fans, having to practice like 24/7. My mind would've burst within the first concert!" Willow responds, seeming to warm up a bit. The sound of a phone going off makes her jump before she reaches into her pocket. "Oh, wow. I gotta go guys! It was nice meeting you Andy. Dru, I'm having a welcome home party this weekend, think you could make it?"

"Yeah, totally! Ohmygods, the whole band is coming this weekend right? Wil, would it be cool if I brought BVB with?" Dru grinned like a child on Christmas when Willow nodded. I loved seeing this side of Dru. It was wild and beautiful at the same time.

"That'd be sweet! Andy, would you be okay with that?" They both give me nearly identical puppy dog faces and I laugh.

"Of course. Just be warned, Ashley will most likely get a little crazy." I'm rewarded with laughs and then a giant Dru hug.

"Thank you thank you thank you!" Dru squeals after Willow left. The enthusiasm that was rolling off her in waves made me smile.

She no longer seemed like the fragile broken girl I found the day I got here and I took pride in knowing most of the reason she got over it was because of me.

Double update! Was going to hold off until tomorrow but I decided to be nice and give you a long chapter! What do you think of Willow? I'll post a pic of her as soon as I can get on a computer! I'm so sorry for the last chapters being so short and it probably would've been a good idea to just add this to the last one but, when I can't come up with any more ideas I cut it off and then start a new chap when I find inspiration. Thank you Nafisa for being a push in the right direction. Honestly, I was thinking of stopping this for awhile but she kept pushing me. So round of applause (or applesauce) for her!
