Doll's P.O.V

Another stupid day in this stupid kingdom, I wait on a response to whats next about the war between us, and the Angels. Their leader Chara, my sworn enemy, is leading the army against us, And me? Well I'm the leader of the Demons, and we aren't going to let no stupid Angels beat us at our own game.

We've been enemies since the day we were born, but the weird thing was, we had the same wings, both were blue and black dipped in a shiny gold. They say if a demon and an angel both have them, they must fight to the death. Which I'm okay with because I'll know, I'll win.

Doll: SHADOW!

Shadow: YEAH?

Doll: Anything new on the war?

Shadow: Nothing new yet, but Chara has demanded that you and her talk things out.

Doll: And let her have the advantage of killing me? Hell no!

Shadow: That's true, well I'm late for something important, I'll be in my way now, call me if you need anything!

And with that, Shadow flies away, her wings black and red, dipped in silver, The weird thing is, hers matches one of my rivals, Nerd, Chara's best friend, maybe they're supposed to fight to the death too. And for sure I know Shadow would win, Demons are much stronger than Angels.

I decided to head out to the woods, it had beautiful trees filled with flowers, and it's so quiet there. I was there for about and hour, But soon heard a noise, I realized I wasn't alone anymore.

Chara's P.O.V

I walked around the woods for awhile, it was the only part that had connected the Demons and the Angels together, I walk around a bit, talking with Nerd about the war, but she said she was late for something important so I let her go, oddly enough her wings matched one of my friends, Her name is Shadow, though she is best friends with Doll, Princess of Demons, she keeps it a secret, because if she gets caught with being around me, Princess of Angels, she'll be killed.

I take a few steps forward, only to come across something I don't expect, more like someone I don't expect, it was the one and only, Doll, sitting on the bed of flowers, singing a lullaby. I take a step forward to hear her voice more, but when I did, I stepped on a twig which broke and startled Doll. Her wings flips up, to protect her from me, just in case I tried to hurt her, and like Shadow and Nerd, her wings matched mine. I stayed quiet but that was no use.

Doll: WHO'S THERE? SHOW YOURSELF OR ELSE!

I stayed quiet, but I found myself stepping towards her, she could kill me right here, right now but she didn't, she only looked shocked.

Doll: What the hell are you doing here!? How did you find me!?

Chara: I was on a daily stroll, I didn't mean to run into you, I only got distracted by your singing.

Doll: Your wings match mine..Its.. ITS Y-YOU!

She says as she brings a knife out and tries to stab me, but I dodge it and she stabs the tree instead.

Chara: Doll we can solve our conflict! You shouldn't end this in violence!

Doll: STOP TALKING!

Chara: Doll, please let me explain!

Doll: Explain what Chara? That you came here to kill me?

Chara: Doll do you understand why we have the same wings?

Doll: Of course I do, it means we must fight eachother to the death

Chara: Doll, have you seen my parents wings?

Doll: Of course, they matched.

Chara: Now what about your parents wings? Did they match?

Doll: I... I don't know.. they abandoned me when I was young..

Chara: Im sorry to hear that Doll, forgive me I didn't know.

Doll: Just forget it, what's the point? The only reason your parents wings match is because they're soul mates, every angel has a soul mate, rarely any demon has one.

She says as she sits down, she stopped trying to kill me, but she's sad now, and I knew about demons all my life, I didn't know they had feelings.

Chara: Doll, not every angel has a soul mate, I don't.

Doll: Neither do I, but just because our wings match doesn't mean we are, it just means... that we aren't that much different, I don't know, but what I do know is that it's wrong for an Angel
and Demon to be together.. I'll see you when it's out time to fight.

And with that she flies away, leaving me to my thoughts, but I soon head off for my kingdom, and once I get inside my room, I seen something I didn't expect to see, there was Shadow and Nerd kissing, I knew it! I knew they liked eachother! So that means what the witch said was true! If your wings match, you found your soul mate! I was so happy that I ran and hugged them both while they were still kissing.

Chara: So it's true! If your wings match then you find your soul mate!

Nerd: Haha.. yeah also sorry about the whole, me kissing Shadow in your room, we were talking and then BAM we kissed..

Shadow had a scared look on her face, she then ran to the window and looked out.

Shadow: Oh no..

Chara: What?

Shadow: Does that mean you're Dolls'
soul mate?..

Chara: It does.. Why is that bad?

Shadow: I have to go now...forgive me..

She says as she flies out the window.

Shadow's P.O.V

I have to stop her, she's planning on attacking Chara tonight, but when I arrive there, I was too late, she had already set off for the surprise attack on the Angels, she's been talking about this night for weeks, why you may ask?

Because this is the night she's going to kill Chara, the night she'll kill her own soul mate.
