Chapter Seven

Beep! Beep! Beep!

Zack's alarm clock screamed at him with a viciously loud noise. With a sigh he stood up and shut it off, he stretched his arms out, waking himself up. He smiled when he remembered that he was going to see his best friends today, and of course because one of those friends was Brian.

His heart beat sped up slightly as a picture of the brown eyed boy flashed through Zack's mind, causing a smile to appear on his face. He got ready for his day at school, getting showered and dressed in his punk rock clothes and adding his black eyeliner, making his piercing green eyes pop.

After eating breakfast it was time for him to leave. He threw his black backpack over his shoulders and walked out the house. His phone dinged as he shut the front door. A smile pulled at the corner of his lips as he read Brian's name.

B: Hey baby, I know you leave at around this time. So, walk to my place and you, me and the guys will walk together

The text read, Zack quickly replied back.

Z: Yeah, I'll be there in a minute :)

B: okay see you soon <3

Z: <3

Zack put his phone back in his pocket and quickly walked to Brian's with excitement. He walked up the stone pathway to Brian's house and knocked. The door opened and reviled a smiling Jimmy.

"Hey Zack, come on in" he exclaimed happily.

"Thanks Jimmy" Zack smiled and walked in. Jimmy pulled Zack into a hug, to which he happily returned one.

"Brian hurry your fucking slow ass up! We're going to be late!" Matt yelled to Brian from the bottom of the stairs.

"Hold your damn ass. I'll be down in a fucking second you dick head!" Brian yelled back. His heavy footsteps were heard coming down the stairs. As soon as he hit the bottom floor Matt smacked him upside the head.

"Don't call me a dick head you fucking dick head" Matt mumbled to Brian who just held his head with a frown on his face, the rest of the boys laughing. Brian's face perked up when he saw the boy who he was quickly developing feelings for.

"Hey Zee" Brian smiled.

"Hey Bri" he waved back.

"Alright, we better all get going before we're late" Jimmy said. The group of teenage boys walked out the door, Brian locking the door behind them. They all walked to the high school, laughing and joking around.

"Hey, how are you doing?" Brian asked Zacky as they moved towards the back of the group.

"A lot better, thanks Brian" Zack truthfully spoke in a soft voice.

"It was my pleasure" Brian smiled and wrapped his arm around Zack's shoulders and kissed the side of his head. Zack smiled and tucked his head into Brian's shoulder. Brian released his arm from around Zack as they approached the school.

They all parted ways to go to their own lockers. Zack didn't realize how not okay he was until he parted ways with the boys. He felt like he was going to have an anxiety attack any second. He quickly went to his locker, just wanting to get to class and see Brian.

As he was at his locker he was met with his worse fear, what was giving him the anxiety. "Well, look at who it is. Little gay faggot Zachary Baker. You're not so big when you're not being covered by your pussy friends, are you." Zack turned around in fear, only to be face to face with Jacob, once again.

"Awh look how scared and vulnerable you are" Jacob said in a fake voice, pushing Zack's books out of his hands and onto the ground, everyone laughing around them. He pushed Zack to the ground, where Zack instantly curled up in a ball in defense so he couldn't get hit in his ribs or stomach.
