July 31st was today. Today I made sure to get up before everyone to plan Beau's birthday because me and you both know the boys aren't going to make an effort to plan it.
I slipped out of Luke's grip and stuck a pillow by him so he won't get up. I pulled on a pair of sweats and pulled off my jumper and slipped on a t shirt.
Slowly and quietly, I opened the bedroom door, careful not to wake Luke or Jai. (A/N: I didn't explain that there are two beds in Kendall's room. One for Jai and one for Brae and Luke.)
Once I was upstairs, I rummaged around the drawers to find a notepad and a pen. When I was successful, I got to work.
I called a nearby club to have the surprise party in, I found a cake place to get his cake and I found a place for decorations in the address book. I checked the clock. 9:36. That gives me enough time to get the cake and decorations because more then likely, the boys won't be up until noon.
I grab a pair of shorts and a purple shirt and slip them on then laced up my black converse. I threw my hair in a ponytail and grabbed Beau's keys then texted the boys and girls.
To: looke💖, Skip, James, Jai, BellaBoo, &, Jo- Happy Birthday Beau! NO don't say anything! I went out for a cake and decor. I'll talk to you when I get back. Keep quiet! x
I pulled out of parking spot and turned up the music. Selena Gomez- Come And Get It. I smiled and started singing along.
It was about half an hour until I arrived at the bakery. I made sure to grab my purse and lock the car when I got out.
The bell rung when I opened the door, making the boy at the front snap his head up. I recognized him as Sean from yesterday.
"You work here?" I asked.
"Yeah. It's a day job. So are we still on for later?" he asked.
"Shit," I muttered. I totally forgot. "I'm so sorry. Today is my boyfriends brothers birthday and I'm planning it." I apologized. I felt like a bitch to be honest.
His face fell. "Oh..."
"Do you wanna come? Maybe we could go Sunday." I suggested.
His face let up a bit. "Yeah sure. What time is it?" he asked.
"I'm thinking eight. I still have to get decorations and cake. Cake! That's why I'm here."
He chuckled, "Okay. What kind?"
"Well, I was thinking something big but not to big. It's at a club. So y'know." I shrugged.
"I gotcha. What kind of cake?" he asked.
"Half chocolate half banana I guess." I answered, guessing what kind of cake he likes.
"Okay. What are you writing on it?"
"Just 'Happy Birthday Beau.' nothing to special." I shrugged.
"Okay. Where's the club at? I'll just bring it when I come."
"Under 21. Do you know where it is?" I asked.
"Yep. That's about half an hour from where I live."
"Okay! How much is this?" I asked once again.
"Its on the house." he winked.
"Are you sure?"
He nodded. "Yep I'll see you tonight."
"Thank you so much Sean. See you later." I waved and left.
