Lydia's POV
"You have got to be kidding me!" I complained to Allison as we walked to our lockers.
"What is it?"
"I got a 92 on the chemistry test!" I whined and she looked at me confused,
"Lydia that's an awesome grade, what's the problem?"
"I knew I could have done better!" I said and she rolled her eyes. We opened our lockers and I quickly took my test out of my binder,
"See look at this," I said and she rolled her eyes again before lowering them to the paper, "the question was 'what is the IUPAC name for water?' And I knew it was dihydrogen monoxide, but I didn't pick it!" I complained again before shoving it back in my binder and slamming my locker shut, letting out a big huff. I heard her snicker as she was slowly putting her books away,
"Take your precious time, Allison" I antagonized and she gave me caustic smile as she moved her arms even slower and I gave her a smile of hopelessness. She finally closed her locker and leaned against it,
"Who's that?" I asked as I tilted my head in the direction of the person. She slowly leaned forward so she could see him,
"Hm, I'm not sure" she shrugged.
"Well he's been staring at you ever since you opened your locker" I teased.
"Stop, he has not" she rolled her eyes in denial. She quickly looked back over at him and smirked,
"Well his little friend has been looking at you, too" she said and I glanced over at them again.
"At least they're hot" I said easygoing and she quickly snapped her head back at me with her mouth in the form of a wide smile,
"Lydia!" she laughed as she slapped my arm.
"What?! They are!" I defended myself.
I mean, they really were. The one that has been staring at Allison had shorter brown hair, hazel eyes, and little freckles everywhere. He was wearing regular blue jeans with a white t-shirt that had black cuffs at the end of the sleeves with some type of pair of blue and white Nikes. The one that was apparently staring at me, had darker brown hair, with brown eyes, and a kind of uneven jawline with a dark, brooding stare. He was wearing blue jeans with a red t-shirt and black Nikes. Very hot boys indeed.
"Should we go talk to them?" Allison whispered spontaneously.
"Allison. We are the girls, they are the boys. They have to chase us, make the first move; we are the prize" I said and she gave me a weird look,
"Says who?" she asked.
"Uh, basically every magazine and blog in the world" I said in the 'duh' tone.
"Okay but who says we have to follow them?" she asked again, getting a little defensive. I gave her a smirk,
"Why are you so concerned about this Allison?" I asked as I poked her sides. She swatted my hands away, which caused me to laugh,
