The Romans refuse and blockade Capua and 58,000 Carthaginians supported by 6000 Syracusans due to Syracuse being a ally of carthage Hasdrubal goes to italy soon they take Regium very south of italy after a naval victory at Messana another city is taken by Samnium Heraclea soon more and more states secede the Boii tribe takes north italy it is to only Rome itself left and is easily taken and easily completely destroyed by Carthaginian-samnite forces
