Ed's POV~

I watched as Evelyn walked around the room helping her students. Seeing the good that she was doing for these children by teaching them how to read independent of sight made me happy that I was some how able to give back. Her telling me that the reason she teaches was because her sister inspired her just made me admire this blonde haired woman even more. As she was helping a student towards the back I looked at her, really looked at her. She was shorter than me and wasn't what most would call thin, she had curves and I liked that, Evelyn looked like a woman who felt beautiful without having to be a stick with legs and arms. That fact made me more comfortable, I mean I'm not fat but I've never had a six pack and probably never will. I continued watching her until she looked up and saw me starring at her. When she realized that I had been looking at her she blushed a bright red that caused me to smile slightly. I looked down at my watch pushing my sweatshirt back just enough to look at it. When I saw the time I stood up and walked toward Evelyn once she was done with her student she turned looking at me.

"I have to go get ready for the performance. I just wanted to thank you for letting me observe your class today. I-I was wondering if maybe you would like to hang out sometime? I mean its nice talking to someone that's...well just a normal person." I asked her after clearing my throat. She looked up at me surprised and a slow smile spread across her face.

" I would love to Ed." I smiled back at her and ruffled my hair while stepping back slightly getting ready to leave.

"I'll be looking out for you at the performance Evelyn." I said turning and walking out.

"It's Ellie!" She called with me half way down the hallway and her standing in her doorway.

"What?" I asked turning to face her  my shoes squeaking on the textured part of the hall.

"My friends call me Ellie." I smiled and turned.

"See you later...Ellie." I continued down the hall surprised by my own confidence with talking to a woman that I found attractive.

I got to the auditorium in time to see my guitar being put on stage for the mini concert for the students I pulled myself up onto the stage and took off my sweatshirt revealing my tattoos. After picking up my guitar I began to tune it and began playing a few random cords waiting for the students to be lead into the seating area. We went through a quick sound check and finished in time for the students to begin filing in by grade level. I looked out at the group of teachers and students in search of Ellie's blonde hair. Then I spotted her holding child's hand leading them one by one to their seats. When everyone was seated I strummed my guitar once and spoke into the mic that was placed in front of the stool that I was currently sitting on.

"Good afternoon everyone. My names Ed Sheeran and I'll be playing a few of my songs for you today." I started to strum the first few lines of the A Team and started singing. I don't really know what made me do it but throughout the show I watched Ellie every once in a while I saw her blue eyes close. Like all she wanted to do was hear the music itself. At the end of the set I put my guitar on its stand that had been placed beside me and I looked out at the small crowd of students and teachers. I carefully gripped the mic.

"Does anyone have a  song request?" I asked looking out when I saw a girl stand up towards the back.

"Can you sing Moments?" I smiled

"If I can remember it." I began strumming the guitar and mumbling the lyrics," There we go five thousand." I said smiling when I smiled I began and then messed up slightly. "Just wait I haven't played this since I've written it. This song was originally a drum and base string I did like four years ago." I mumbled a few more lyrics then said," Yeah cool." and finally I began to sing the song. I don't know what made me look out at the crowd again but when I did my eyes locked with Ellie's. It felt as if an electric shock ran down my spine. It was as if we were connected and then I looked away and closed my eyes as I finished the song. Maybe this was the beginning of something more.
