Akumi pov

I was holding chi and a bag so I could put books if I found anything useful for what I was searching. I wear my cross necklace and I was wearing my red and black dress with a red hood.(almost look like the pic above) and a mask that cover my mouth and nose. Then I quickly teleport to grandfather house.

As I felt presence of few vampire and the one that I didn't kill with a human. And that was aunt. I teleport in and hide somewhere. And listen to what their talking.

"Search for the forbidden grimoire."
"Yes sir."
"Where is the forbidden grimoire."
"I won't tell you anything." Aunt said

"Fine."

They search for 2 hours and luckily they didn't find me. I peek a little out of my hiding spot. They were holding aunt . My eye widened as I saw bite mark on her neck. Looks like not many bites so she wouldn't turn into a vampire.

"We check everywhere but couldn't find it."
"Let's head back. And make sure to burn the place."
"Yes of course sir." And they were heading for the door. I saw aunt drop her phone. I make a black cross appear beside it. I could see her eyes widen and saw me. But she shock her head no tell me don't do anything.

As I saw them take her away.

Once I felt them disappear I came out of my hiding spot and search for books. I place them I in my bag. Until I scents two vampire here. And I scent Rem and Ritsuka coming. I went upstairs.

Ritsuka pov

Me and Rem were at my grandfather house. The door was open. As we walk in I got memories of my missing sister. We used to play together but until she was five she started acting strange and stop playing with me and went missing at the end of the year. When Rem call me I saw my mother's phone I pick it up but saw a black cross. I look at it closely.

"What is it Ritsuka." Rem asked.

"This black cross is mark beside my mother's phone . My grandfather would never have this in his house. The only person who always like to mark  is my sister Lin. But she went missing."

"Could she be doing this?"

"No! She was reported dead when the police couldn't find her. Never mind let's just search around." I said.

She can't be the cause. I thought. As I heard sound from the kitchen. I walk in. I look around but nothing . Until I saw a man. No his eyes is glowing his a vampire! He was about to slash at me . But Rem appeared."get out of here." What!
"No I want to he-"
"Ritsuka go. I'll handle this."

I believe in him. I left the kitchen. But then I heard footsteps. It's coming from upstairs. I climb up the stair and see another vampire. And was fighting a lady with a red hood. I look closer. No it can't be. Lin. As I took a step back causing the floor board to make a sound. Causing all attention on me.

With a blink of an eye I was held hostage.

Akumi/lin pov

I was fighting with the vampire when a footstep. I saw Ritsuka. Then the vampire took Ritsuka as hostage.

"Don't come closer. Or she dies." Lending his sharp claws closer to her neck. I hold my black cross necklace chanting quietly " be scared by my name. I command your soul to be my you vampire." His soul appear only I can see coming from his mouth. I quick take my sword and stab his shoulder losing his grip on Ritsuka. I grab her and shot my dagger at his heart and he disappeared into ashes.

Then fire appear. "Lin Onee chan?" She look at me.

"Hang on tight to me okay." I said. She hold on me tighter. The stairs were on fire. I saw the open window.
"I'm going to get you out of here. Get ready." I said. As I carry her bride style and run at the window.

And we were falling. I quickly place her on top of me. I hit the ground hard. I open my eyes to see if Ritsuka was alright. I see her eyes are closed.

"Ritsuka. Your safe." I said.
She open her eyes."Lin. Your hurt I'm sorry." She quickly got off me. I slowly got up. My back was hurt.

"It's all right I'm fine." I said smiling through my mask.

"Lin. Why did you leave me. Why did you leave Lindo too." She said tears in her eyes .

"Why!" She scream.

Rem appeared and walk over to her. As I step a few step back."you will find out soon. I'm sorry . Your question will be answer in the future as the answer will always be beside you." I said. And walk away.
"Lin!"

I knock her out." Please take care of her." I said and disappear. And appear back at the mansion.

I went in to the bathroom and take off my clothes. I look at my back on the reflection of the mirror. It was bleeding and crack. I open my spell book. " sana " my back suddenly feel like it was burning. Then after awhile I stop. I look again and see no blood if was completely healed. The book is Latin so I had to study for Latin.

I need a letter for being absent today. I sigh. I need a doctor letter. Since the school know I don't have parents I have to get a doctor letter. I groaned. I have to see my doctor . I take my phone and dial the number.

"Hello Dr Mizuki speaking."
"Hello Mizu . It's me Akumi . I need a doctor letter as well to check my back injury today."
"Okay. Come here now I have no appointment now."
"Thanks. I'll be there when you count to five seconds." And I hang up. And teleport to his office.

"Just in time . Now sit down and let me check your back." He said.

I still can't believe he became a doctor and more or less he became my doctor. He was just two years older than me though.

"Well your back is fine. I guess you used your power." He said smirking. I turn around and stare at him blankly. "I want to double check weather I heal it properly or not." I said emotionless. " oh whatever. Come on here your letter for school ." I take it and I saw his face still had that smirk on.

"Wipe that smirk off your face. I could have finish my education same year as you but stay to keep an eye on Ritsuka." I said . "Right your cousin. The one who has the grimoire power. Whoever has it became king or queen." He said.

"Don't talk or think about it . It will cause more danger for her she didn't know about demon and vampire and devil. She feel tense and panic if she find out." I said sighing.

Mizu who is my doctor is a devil. His a sword man. Creating his own sword with different power in it and has black bat wings.

"Well I'm going. See you later Mizu. " as I teleport to the mansion. Tomorrow school. I hate school once this is over I'm going back to my dream goal again.
