The Date

Nikki's POV

I woke up this morning sleeping on the couch with Hadrian. We were talking about going back to Hogwarts, getting resorted, and Potter, Weasley, and Weaslette. I didn't know before I got to the manor that I wouldn't like, no HATE, Harry, Ron and Ginny. I thought that maybe I could still be friends with them. I guess not. Hadrian was still asleep when I woke up so I quietly slipped out of his arms, kissed him on the cheek and left to get one breakfast before my date with Draco. I am so nervous for this date. I have no idea what will happen. All I know is that we are going on a date in the garden. A picnic. When you think about it, that sounds perfect. No big surprises, though I do like BIG surprises. I went downstairs and sat down at the table. Misty, the house elf, popped in and asked me what I wanted for breakfast.

"Good morning mistress, what would you like for breakfast this morning?"

"Waffles with maple syrup and pumpkin juice Misty."

"Sure thing mistress. Be right back with the waffles and pumpkin juice."

She left to go get my breakfast. While I waited I decided to let Pytha out so she could go and hunt. I spoke in parseltongue to the bracelet and out popped my beautiful python. 

"Hello Nikki. How is your day going?"

"Fine Pytha. I'm going on a date with Draco Malfoy today. I'm so nervous. Got any advice?" I asked her even though I didn't think she would give any.

"Stay calm. I already know he likes you. He has for a while now."

"Really, didn't know that. Thanks Pytha. You want to go and hunt for some food and then meet me back in my room?"

"Sure." 

She slithered off right a Misty came back with the waffles and pumpkin juice. I ate in a hurry, knowing that my date with Draco was only a few hours away and I had no idea what I wanted to wear. I rushed upstairs and took and shower. Once my shower was done, I started to think of how I wanted to wear my hair. I decided on down in its normal wavy ways.I magically dried it and went over to my huge closet. I spent about 45 minutes just picking out the correct shoes. I am so glad I got up 3 hours early. Finally after about 2 hours of looking I decided on short jean shorts, a green tank top with a silver snake on it, and some black trainers. Just some normal clothes seemed good enough. After I finished putting on the clothes, I walked over to the mirror and put some red lipstick, mascara, and light blush. Just as I finished, Misty knocked on the door.

"Mistress, Draco Malfoy is waiting downstairs for you."

"Thank you Misty, tell him I'll be one moment."

She went downstairs and told Draco. I put the final touches on my look and walked down the stairs. He was waiting and the bottom of the stairs. He was so handsome. He wore blue jeans, a green t-shirt that fitted his perfect body, and black shoes. As I walked down the stairs I looked as his eyes went wide and his mouth dropped.

"Close you mouth before you catch flies." 

"Sorry, it's just, you look gorgeous."

"Draco I didn't really try that hard with this outfit. Wait until you see me at the Christmas Ball my father throws every year." 

"In that case, Christmas please come soon." 

I laughed and we started to walk out into the garden. To my surprise, it was already setup in the perfect way. There was a pond right next to where our table was, a tree that perfectly shaded the table, and this beautiful flower bed. 

"Wow, Draco this looks incredible! How did you do this?"

"I have my ways." He said with a smug smirk on his face. I laughed and we went to sit down. Like a proper gentlemen should, he pulled my chair out for me and then pushed me in. I smiled at him as he took his seat o  the other side of the table. 

"So Nikki, tell me some things about yourself. I mean we've known each other for a long time but we did hate each other."

"True, well I still love to read, I have grown an interest for Quidditch surprisingly and have gotten pretty good at it playing with Hadrian, my favorite color is green obviously, and have a pet snake named Pytha. What about you?"

"Hold on, you have a pet snake named Pytha? Cool, will she hurt me?"

"Not unless I tell her to."

"Okay good,hopefully. Anyways, like you I love Quidditch. Maybe I could get you a tryout on the Slytherin team. Um, my favorite color is green also, I like playing wizards chess, and my favorite food is pancakes."

"Pancake huh, my favorite food is waffles, not that far off. And I would love to try out for the Slytherin team! Thanks."

We started to eat our food. He made steak with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. As we ate, we found out the we both had so much in common with each other. It felt like we sat there for hours. After we finished eating he took my hand and we went on a walk. We found a bench right in front of the pond and sat down.

"I had a lot of fu with you today Nikki. We should do it again."

"I would like that."

As we sat there, I looked out at the pond. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see him staring at me. Right as I was about to say something, he put his hand on my cheek and faced my face towards his. HE lined in and kissed me. The kiss was nothing like I had ever felt before. It was like fireworks. When people say he is a good kisser or whatever, that is an understatement. His kiss was gentle and sweet. I kissed Ron before the school year ended, and Draco's is nothing like that. While Ron's was sloppy and fats, Araco's is gentle, clean and sweet. We stat there for about 2 minutes before I pulled away.

"Wow, that felt.... amazing." I said catching my breath.

"Yeah I know, I think that was the best kiss I have ever had." He said catching his breath as well.

Before we know it we're kissing again. This time I don't keep my hand to myself, neither does he for that matter. He wraps he hands around my waist and pulls me closer. I reach up and put my hands into perfect blond hair and threaded my hands into it. It wasn't just a kiss anymore, it was full songging session. After around 5 minutes we pulled apart and he asked the one question I was absolutely hoping he would ask.

"Nikki, will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes, yes of course." I said leaning in to kiss him again. 

After that final kiss we got up, hand and hand, and walked back to the house. He gave me one final goodbye kiss and flooed back to his manor. I walked upstairs and Hadrian was waiting for me. I told him about the date and he was very excited that I was happy. He did say that if Draco hurt me he was dead. I laughed at him. Hadrian is so over protective, but I love him for it. We spent the rest of the day in the study talking and reading on the couch. Just like the night before, we fell asleep there and at some point during the nighttime, someone came in a wrapped a blanket around us. 

Tom's (Voldemort) POV

I walked into my study and saw my 2 beautiful children asleep like they were last night. I grabbed a blanket and wrapped it around them before kissing them both on the cheek and going to find Nadi. I love my family so much. I would do anything for them.
