Survive

Prologue

     The world around us has become a place for human waste. 300 years ago a man named Richard Line was frozen when he died. Thus creating a lot of people to freeze them selfs when they die. So when the technology is at the level to bring some back to life they could live again. 250 years into the future they found a way. They would unfreeze the body's and eject them with a radioactive formula. The first person they did this to was Richard Line. All the doctors that conducted this experiment died due to the high levels of radiation. But Richard was risen. what scientist didn't know is that Richard would never die. People heard about this and being the greedy humans they are wanted to live forever. So they started killing each other mass amounts died. Richard was a well known scientist. He froze everyone who asked for it done and would do the operation on them. Millions and millions of people were given a chance at a new life that would last forever. But with millions and millions of people never dying the world got over populated and Richard soon expelled the experiment and was never to let anyone get the formula. But it was too late the world was never to be the same again. The world was starting to die. Why is the world such a hard place to live in? Why must every human be so greedy in having a life that would last forever? Why would you want something like that? Watch all your love ones die? The world has slowly giving up on us. The sun is slowly giving out. All the waste we put into our world and the Galaxy is unbelievable. We brought big rockets of garbage and threw it into space. How is that fair? We are killing everything we touch. Why? Because we are selfish humans. Each country is slowly sinking. It all started with China. Billions of people died and all the supers human were stuck in the ocean for months. A few weeks later Russia went down billions died. A few weeks after that another country and another country. Another week another billion dead. Scientist don't know what to do no one knows what to do. Last week Mexico went down leaving the U.S.A and Canada. The Americans are traveling to Canada to try to live as long as they can. All the scientist from the U.S have traveled to Canada to try and figure out a plan. My father is one of the greatest scientist. He has been in the lab for months now. We have always lived in Canada and when he told my family and I that Canada was the last to go down I didn't know what to think. Scientists say if our country doesn't sink and kill us then the sun will give out and kill us. Why must our world be so hard why must people be so greedy?
"Echo." My father called from the inside of his office. I opened the door.
"Yes!" I answered.
"Come in sit." He pointed to his chair I walked over to it. "We are going to have some guests. One of them is......... Um Richard Line." My father says. He knows how much I hate him and his stupid experiment. He made all the scientist look bad.
"Why?" I snap.
"Echo I know you don't like him. Heck I don't like the man but he is going to help us." My father says.
"Why does he want to help us? He can live forever why would he help the normals?" I ask.
"Because he feels like he owes us this." My father says.
"Ya no really he caused this!" I yelled.
"Echo stop acting like a child you are 16 years old!" My father yells at me. Just then the door opens and in comes Richard Line the man who killed billions. Before my father can say anything I go up to him and say.
"How does it feel to have killed billions?" I asked him. He looked at me and his eyes went wide. I mean I don't look very old I'm 5'5 and thin with brown hair and blue eyes I look around 10 not 16.
"It feels horrible." He says looking me in the eyes. I'm surprised by his reaction.
"Was it worth being alive forever?" I ask him. He looks at me.
"Echo stop!" My father yells. I look at my dad and at Richard. And walk out. As I closed the door i ran into my brother gale.
"Echo why you in such a hurry?" He asked. I looked at my fathers lab and back at him.
"He's here?" My brother asked. I nodded my head. Me and my brother both disliked the man but Gale would be nice to him where I would not give him the time of day.
"He doesn't deserve to be here!" I say. Gale looks at me and nodes.
"He should be in jail!"I yell. My brother looks behind me I turn around to find Richard.
"I was just looking for the bathroom." He says looking down. I was about to say something when gale says
"It's down the hall to the right."
"Thank you!" He says as he follows gales institutions.
"Why would you help him?" I yell at gale when Richard isn't within ear shot.
"I guess I'm the bigger person!" He says.
"You are not!" I yell.
"I am older then you!" He says.
"Ya by 3 minutes!" I yell. He starts laughing. Gale is my twin brother he looks nothing like me. He is really tall and has a thick structure with black hair and green eyes.
"Come on!" He says as he throws a lazy arm around me as we walk into my fathers lab. Ever since we were little we have helped our dad in the lab he showed us how to work his mechanics and how to produce things and so on. We now work with him.
"Everyone this is my daughter echo." My father says as he points to me "and my son Gale." He says as he points to gale. We both shack everyone's hand and sit down at the large table by the white board. My fathers lab is huge it had a desk a meeting area and a chemical room and a mechanical room.
"Now we are all here to try and save the last amount of people on earth. Anyone have any ideas." My father asks. Just then the door opens and Richard walks in all eyes are on him.
"I guess we're not the only ones that hate him." I whisper to my brother. He smiles and shakes his head.
"I'm sorry I just ran to the bathroom." Richard says as he sits down beside me. I cringe.
"Me and Echo have been working on something!" Gale says.
"Please come show us!" My father says as he takes a set next to Dr. Hunter.
"Well the experiment in 2018 was to start humanity on a different planet. As you can see we lost contact of them and are not sure if they are still alive and if the project was a success." I say.
"We were looking more into this project and found out that they found a planet in another galaxy with water on it." Gale says everyone looks at us an one another.
"It is a good 5 years away but we also found a formula that will help your body adapt to the rocket. The only thing is that most people who have tried this formula end up going crazy and dying." I say.
"And we don't have enough time to test it." Gale says. Richard gets up.
"I know my formula has cause a lot of death and our world to die but if we us this we will be able to wake up and live on this new planet." Richard says.
"Wait!" My father says "are you suggesting that we all get your operation done?"
"Yes! It is the only way we can save humanity!" Richard says.
"No it's how you disturbed it!" I yell.
"I know no one likes me here but we need to do something about this. We are not going to have enough time to think of another plan before are world goes dark!" He yells. Just then their is a loud BANG! Another billion dead I think to myself.

Hello thank you so much for deciding to open this book! This is my first attempt at writing Science Fiction so please bare with me. I am really excited about this book and I hope that you guys like it! Please let me know what you think about it and what you think I should change I love to hear what you guys think! And just to give you an idea of the time and the technology the year is 2755.
