CHAPTER 4- THE CHALLENGE OF LIGHTNING

-PRESENT DAY-

Laxus...did I challenge him? Of course I did, because Lighting was well, basically the lowest form of plasma, and since I knew plasma magic I would be one hell of a fight for me.
Anyway...

-9 ½ YEARS AGO-

I was sitting in the guild hall, having a few drinks when the guilds Double door slammed opened.
There were four people standing there, one had long green hair and had a red coat that went to his knees, he also had a sword like weapon holstered on his hip.

One had a striped long-sleeved shirt on that had skull on his shoulders; he also had a medieval knight mask over his upper face, and had weird wooden things flying around him.

Then there was a chick that had dark blonde hair and has a brown coat with a tan fur outline, she also had glasses and had a green and purple shirt that had a purple rose the lower side.

Then in the middle, was a blonde headed man with a black coat with a light grey fur outline, and has a navy blue shirt and red pants. Along with black boots, I knew who he was...Laxus.

I had then asked Mirajane who the other three were. The chick was Evergreen, the green haired fellow was Freed, and the one with the medieval knight's mask on his upper face was Bickslow.
"I heard that there was a new member here. Where is he?" he asked. Ah crap did I say something that I shouldn't have?
"Depends on who's asking?" I asked
"You must be him..." he said. He must have heard about my power.
"Yes, this is the new member..." I said.
"What is your name?" he asked.
"My name is Grimm...Nateon Grimm!" I said. Then Nastu wanted to challenge him, and then the black haired boy, Gajeel, challenged him as well. Then I wanted to challenge him as well.
"Oi...I want to fight you, and Nastu and Gajeel!" I shouted.
"Oh kid you don't have the strength to defeat Laxus." Evergreen said with a cocky manner within her tone. I went up to her before anyone could snap a finger.
"Just try me." I said viscously. I then grabbed her glasses before she could even blink. Everyone was yelling 'NO!' they knew what I was going to do to those glasses. Which was snapping them in two, which I did of course. Everyone...well, nearly everyone had their hands over their faces. The rest were just stunned. Her eyes began to glow, and then before I knew it I was being turned to stone. I couldn't move. Then the stone started to crack, then the stone just ruptured and it broke but I was still standing. Still staring at her, I gave her a daggered stare.
"You really think that your little stone party trick would work on me?" I chuckled.
"But...But how?" she stuttered.
"Well it doesn't...do that again... I. DARE. YOU." I said with vengeance within my voice, and clenching my fist.
"I accept your challenge, along with Nastu and Gajeel's as well. There is a festival coming up later this week. We'll fight then." Laxus explained. I then handed Evergreen her...well what was left of her glasses. She yanked them out of my hand and the thunder legion walked away.

The whole Guild was amazed about how I broke Evergreen's little party trick, well I call it a party trick. Then Nastu and Grey went back to fighting again.

"You wanna go, Hot Head!" Grey insulted.
"Bring it, Popsicle!" Nastu insulted back. I wanted to intervene, but it was just too funny.
"Come at me Dragon Breath!" Gray said.
"You first...Ice Boy!" Nastu insulted. Okay I think I had my share of laughter for now, time to break this up.
"Alright I think that's enough for today." I said walking in between the two idiots.
"Shut up!" they said. Then I was sent flying into the ceiling of the Guild hall and boy when I hit the ceiling, damn did it hurt. I landed on the ground on my back. I saw Mirajane giggle a little bit.
"Alright..." I got up. "This is where my patients ends!" I walked to them I grabbed Nastu by his collar.
"Hey...Let me go!" he shouted. I then grabbed Grey by his...well neck.
"Hey put me down!" Grey shouted. I then bashed their head together. They both slammed to the floor, on their ass.
"Hey what was that for?" Grey asked. I face palm.
"Really...for sucker punching me!" I shouted. Then Nastu got up and charged at me.
"Come on Plasma Breath!" He yelled.
"Shut Up!" I shouted, upper cutting him square across his face. He went flying into the ceiling, and landed on a table destroying it. Little did I know that Erza had set her cake on that table, it and along with the table was destroyed. She came back, and boy was she pissed.

She Daggered stared at Nastu, then Grey. Grey being a snitch points at me and yells 'HE DID IT!'
She then gave me a daggered stare. I gulped in a knot, cursed and bolted out the door.
"She's all yours Popsicle!" I shouted from a far. I left a trial of smoke; I was out of that guild hall before anyone could blink.
"Hey you come back her you bas-!" I heard before I was too far from Grey to tell what was going on...

-PRESENT DAY-

Why did I bolt out the door when I did? Well Erza is a B. I. T. C. H. when she is pissed. I didn't want to feel her wrath. I got the hell outta there, Grey and Nastu...not so much.
Anyway...

-9 ½ YEARS AGO-

...I made back to my apartment room trying to catch a breath from running out of the guild to get away from the wrath of Erza Scarlet. I sat on my bed drinking a bottle...correction...three bottles of water. Three were already devoured with in four minutes. I was on the fourth bottle when guess who knocks on my door. I look through the peep hole and when I saw that it was Erza Scarlet on the other side of the door, I panicked. It was at that moment I knew that...I had screwed up.
