The Shrine and History

Alicia's POV
Do you think he likes me? Did I get seen and he just decided to leave me? I guess it's better than him telling on me and the police or military will try and do operations to see what I am....I should try and act normal so he just thinks it was his imagination.

These thoughts are the only thing that I am thinking about for our last period of school for the day. I don't think I want to stay nor do I want to go home.

"Alicia!" A voice said. I wasn't really paying attention. Till I heard my name was called or yelled is what I should say. "ALICIA!!!"

I turned to face the teacher. His face was red. Probably from yelling my name for so long.

"Yes!" I said.

"I want you to read the next paragraph." He said while pointing at the book in his hands.

I don't even remember what class I am in. I was so lost in thought. I turned a few pages to show him I was paying attention. Though I could figure out where to start. While I was about to ask I felt someone starring at me. I looked to see who it was. It was Roberto. Wait he is in this class? He also sits two seats away from me. You think I would have noticed.

Roberto was pointing at a beginning of a paragraph at a certain page number. It's probably where I am supposed to read.

I found the page and looked at the Title. 'The One Who Was Named Shia' now I remember what class I am in. History class.

"Since your taking your time, why not read the whole story from the beginning" the teacher, Mr. Lars.

"Yes," I said while looking a the beginning of the story.

"There was once a beautiful lady, her name was Shia. She received whatever she wished because of her beauty. She was adored by many and hated by many. Men came all over the world to see her, at least once. Her beauty was so captivating she was named Princess Shia The Fox. Of course the people never knew that she has a profound secret that could destroy her.

The people made a shrine for her at the top of Leon Mountain. A sacred one for a sacred lady. Or so they thought. One day a young man came and stole Shia's heart. She wanted to marry him. His looks, his gentle smile, his muscular strong body. She wanted it. But the man didn't wish to marry her. He refused. Shia grew angry and furious. She destroyed the people town and villages, killed thousands along the way. The man cursed Shia and turned her into a fox. Just like she wanted to be. The town kept the shrine, never wanting to destroy a past that could teach many."

With that class ended. I want to say thank you to Roberto for helping me out.

While I was heading to my locker I saw him go upstairs. I follow him. He stopped to talk to someone. He looks familiar. He has blue eyes and blond hair. 'No way! It couldn't be!? It's him, Wilfred!' While standing like an idiot looking at him he noticed me and walked towards me.

I walked past him and said thank you to Roberto. I quickly left after that hoping to not look in Wilfred's eyes.

I was almost out of the building when someone grabbed my shoulder.

"Hey I saw that, you hanging out with people? Dream on! They are like the most popular people in the school. You better get away from them or I will tell dad! GOT IT?!"

"Yes ma'am," I said to Jesse. She looks cocky as usual. Did I forget to mention she is the most favored person in my family. Not to mention quite popular at school.

I walked home feeling really depressed.

Roberto's POV
I saw her looking out the window. She seems to be thinking about something. I wonder what. I dont think I know her name. Wilfred seems to have taken a liking to her. Always, looking at her. In fact since P.E he seems to want to get to know her better. He mentioned something about....ahhh.....I forget...but it has to be something important. Right? She does look pretty.

The teacher has been calling her for a little bit. Maybe not even a minute. She looks to deep in thought. After he yelled, which made me jump a little. She looked over and looked rather baffled. She was searching through her book. After a bit she noticed my gaze. I pointed where we are in the book. She went back to hers. Although she had to reread the whole thing. She does like books so I would assume she won't mind it.

She has an amazing voice. She has the ability to catch any person with her words. With that she was done. The beautiful women who was cursed and turned into a fox because of her greed. Rather tragic.

Class ended and I was about to reach my locker when I ran into Wilfred. He seems in quite a daze too. I wonder if they both have feelings for each other. I may have feelings for her too though.

"Oi, Wills, what you thinking 'bout?"

He looked at me with his expressionless face. Woah. He almost seems lost in a way.

"This girl, something happened and I don't know if it's real or not. I am so confused."

I guessed it. That's twice now in one hour.

"Why not ask her?"

Just then something caught his eye. He started to walk forwards. Just then I saw her running up to me to say thank you. She quickly left without looking at him once. Rather weird. I should totally see what's happening.

With that I haven't spoken to Wilfred for the rest of the day. He was so silent. I mean he usually is but it's different this time.
