Jimin
He sat at his art desk in the corner of his disheveled room throwing ink onto a blank piece of paper. Jimin looks up to check his phone for the second time today, it's almost two o'clock. He had been painting since ten in the morning.
"I should change-"
The doorbell rings, interrupting Jimin. He groans once before taking a glimpse at his ink stained shirt and running to answer the door. Opening the door, he catches his eye on the same black-headed younger smiling back at him. He instantly steps aside to let him in.
"Hi Jungkook-"
Jimin smiles to Jungkook, hoping it would rub off on him.
"Hi, Jimin."
Jungkook half-smiles in return, before averting his eyes to the wooden floor.
Ugh, he's so cute. Just don't make him uncomfortable.
Jimin pulls Jungkook's hand, leading him through the narrow house.
"So this is the living room, it's small, and the dining room, it's also small, and the kitchen, that's small too."
He could hear Jungkook's small laughs behind him which he noted he found adorable.
"...and this is my room, it's small but comfy. You can sit anywhere."
He turns around to see Jungkook's eyes staring all over his room. He saw this sparkle in his eyes that made them light up, Jungkook seemed so intrigued by the artwork hung all around him.
"Which is your favorite?"
Jungkook never looked away to answer.
"I don't know- there's so much."
He was right. Jimin had hung up all his artwork he either did for fun, or got back after he finished as a project. There was a large variety of things hung up: paintings, sketches, photography, sculptures, you name it. So much was hung up that you couldn't even tell what color the wall was supposed to be. But the look of it all is just so captivating, so interesting, it's so hard to peel your eyes away.
Jungkook
He was so blown away by the talent and passion Jimin had for art, he loved that quality about him and envied it. He wished he could have such a love for something. It also made him notice the ink stains all over Jimin, he must have gotten lost in painting earlier and forgot about time.
God, he's gorgeous. Jungkook thought, just staring at Jimin as he fiddled with the pages in his notebook in front of him.
"Hey, wanna do something?"
Jungkook lifted his eyebrow up curiously. Jimin smiled back at him holding out a pencil for him, then grabbing one for himself.
"It's this thing where one of us draws the other without looking at the paper, we just look at the other person."
"Then what do I do?"
"Anything, I just have to try to draw you doing whatever, without looking, then we switch."
Jungkook cracked the smallest grin.
"But I can't draw."
"That's alright, you can still do it, it's fun."
Jimin's words sounded so smooth, they made it so easy to be persuaded.
Jungkook scrolled on his phone as he felt Jimin's eyes burning holes through him and hearing the scribbles of the pencil against the paper.
"Do you have any music?"
Of course, locking eyes when Jungkook glances up, he looks at him innocently.
"Uh, yeah, I don't know if you wanna listen to it though."
Jimin's laugh made Jungkook's heart skip a beat.
"I wanna hear it."
Jungkook nervously put on his music, waiting for Jimin's reaction.
"Classical? It sounds nice."
Jimin smiled towards Jungkook, making him feel more warm and comforted.
"Yeah, I used to play orchestra, so..."
Jungkook still didn't want to look up, afraid of some form of judgement. He bit his lip, staring down at his phone.
"That's really cool, what did you play?"
The way Jimin's voice sounded was almost like silk, Jungkook thought. He enjoyed that Jimin generally wanted to know things about him, it made him feel wanted.
"Viola- it's like a violin, but it sounds deeper."
Jimin nodded, not taking his eyes off of Jungkook.
"Okay, I think I'm done."
Jungkook looks at the sketch that did closely resemble him. He was looking down in the picture and his hair was swept forward from looking down.
"This is like- really good."
He was so mesmerized by the simple drawing that took five minutes. He acted like a child receiving a new present.
"I'm gonna keep this-"
Jimin laughed in response.
"Only if I get to keep yours."
Jungkook smirked slightly, folding the small paper in his pocket.
"Deal."
