Chapter 3- Songs, Dances and Harry Styles
Ren's P.O.V.
The ride home from the mall was dreadful. Hell, the whole shopping experience was dreadful. More dreadful than it would have been without Alicia finding out about my old, neighbourhood pal.
I got a nice dress for the dinner. Well... Nice in my opinion. Alicia liked it too. She didn't see it for long, though. She looked at it for about 2 seconds before shoving her cellphone back in front of her face updating her facebook, twitter, tumblr, instagram and whatever other social networking site she's joined.
"Aaaaaaah!" She screamed, thrashing her head to the tune of One Direction's new song "Best Song Ever". She'd turned it up all the way and it was starting to give me a headache. It's not that I don't like the song, it was just a litte too loud.
I liked One Direction. Their songs were good and stuff, I just wasn't exactly crazy about them like Alicia was.... And that was probably for the best.
I hung my head when Alicia refused to turn down the radio and I massaged my temples when we stopped at a red light. "I can NOT believe I am going to meet the Harry Styles!" She squealed.
I pulled into her driveway and turned to her. "Let's get this straight," I said. She just looked at me with a grin. "If you do not tone down all of this "Fangirl" stuff you will not be meeting Harry Styles" I spat.
Her eyes flooded with hate and she crossed her arms over her chest. "You've been so... ugh, this whole morning, Ren." She said angrily. "I'm just excited, OK? Get over it. I'll hold myself together enough to meet him. But you'd act the same if you were going to meet your favourite band member!"
I guess she was right. Maybe I should have some empathy for her. She was just excited. So even though I was still annoyed I told her I overreacted and that I would still let her meet.... Harry Styles.
"Yay!" She screeched, and opened the passenger door. After grabbing her purse she leaned back into the car. "So Ren... I'm uh... Sorry. For today and how I acted. I'll get your car cleaned, ok? It's the least I can do, in exchange for..." She gave me a saucy wink "Harry Styles!"
I laughed. "Thanks for going shopping with me Alicia," I told her and she slipped her head out of the car. She twirled around, swirling her hands in a circular motion chanting "Harry-Harry Sty-les! Harry-Harry Sty-les!"
I groaned and looked at her with a giggle. "You know you suck at dancing, right?"
She looked at me, her face mock with with pain. "Well that was nice!" I only rolled my eyes and looked at her with a grin. "I gotta get going, thanks again Alicia and in the meantime? Get yourself some up to date dance moves."

5:13.
They would be here in 47 minutes. I had 47 minutes to get ready. More than enough time!
I think.
I slipped on my light purple dress that came down to around mid-thigh. I was sleeveless and had a belt made of flowers that tugged at my waist. The material below the belt was all lace and it was actually, in my opinion, quite elequant.
I pulled all of my dirty blonde on top of my head and held it together with a large clip my mother had bought for me. Again, something that wasn't exactly my style but I would be scolded for wearing a pony tail.
I honestly still do not get why everyone was making such a fuss about this dinner. It was being held at our own house. I shouldn't be obligated to dress up for something that was being held at my own goddam house.
