Today is the first day of school and Ashley was nervous. She knew it would be exactly like the other schools. When she walked in two girls named Sadie and Taylor welcomed her and showed her around. For once she felt welcome. She stayed with Taylor and Sadie for the rest of the day. When she got home after school she talked to her grandmother about her new friends. Her grandma is like her best friend and Ashley wouldn't know what to do without her. The next day she got in the bus and sat with Sadie, she lives next door and when they got to school they waited for Taylor. When Taylor got there they went to class and it was a normal day until lunch. When this girl named Layla started making fun of Ashley. She called her names and threw her lunch on the ground. Taylor and Sadie stood up for her but it didn't work. Then all of a sudden Layla dumped her smoothie on Ashley's head. Ashley went home right away and locked herself in her room and wouldn't even let her grandmother in. About an hour later her friends came over to make sure she was ok. They watched a movie and forgot about what happens at school that day.
