-Saajida's POV---

No matter how hard I tried, the wedding was still happening. In fact it actually just happened.

Yep, I was officially now his. I wish I could have just had it in to me say nahi hai, when I was asked, kya apko yeh Nikkah qubool hai?

Why didn't I just say nahi hai? What's wrong with me? Ugh! Now, I'm unfortunately his.

I swear if he thinks he's won this, whatever game he's playing, he's dead wrong! I'll show him! I'll try to be the worse wife possible and he'll have no choice but to leave me within a few days.

But only to him. I have nothing against the rest of his family. They're not the ones who did anything wrong.

I was taken out of my thoughts by the door opening.

"Now what?" I questioned.

"You need to calm down,"Hussian said.

Calm down?? Did he just tell me to calm down?!

"I just came to tell you to get some rest before the reception,"he said.

"Oh shut up! Like you would care," I said.

"It's up to you. I said what I had to,"he replied and left.

Ugh! Stupid jerk! Seriously, why didn't I saw no?

--Time Skip--

It was weird for me to wake up here, even if it was just a nap. I quickly got up and didn't bother to fix the bed.

He can do it himself.

I quickly changed into an outfit. I was going to start my make-up but he came in.

He looked at me for a few seconds.

"What?" I questioned.

"Nothing. You just look pretty,"he said.

Oh my God! If he is saying that, it means I don't.

"Great! I have to change now,"I said.

He looked confused but left from there.

I quickly changed into a black and pink lengha with gold embroidery. I did my first and put my jewelry on.

I got everything and was about to leave when he came inside.

"Let's get going,"he said.

"K,"I said.

Not even one word, just one letter. I'm awesome!

We got to the reception and did everything we are supposed to. It was eventually time for the slow dance. I can't believe I forgot about this stupid thing.

I didn't even have a way out of it. The DJ switched from the party songs into the slow song.

"Aankhon mein teri...
Ajab si, ajab si, adaayein hain
Ho...
ankhon mein teri...
ajab si, ajab si, adaayein hain
Dil ko bana dein jo patang
Saansein ye teri vo hawaayein hain

Aankhon mein teri...
Ajab si, ajab si, adaayein hain
Ho...
ankhon mein teri...
ajab si, ajab si, adaayein hain
Dil ko bana dein jo patang
Saansein ye teri vo hawaayein hain

Aayi aisi raat hai jo
Bohat khush-naseeb hai
Chaahe jisse door se duniya
Vo mere kareeb hai
Kitna kuch kehna hai
Fir bhi hai dil mein sawaal kaheen
Sapnon mein jo roz kaha hai
wo phir se kahun Ya nahee

Aankhon mein teri
Ajab si, ajab si, adaayein hain
Ho...
ankhon mein teri
ajab si, ajab si, adaayein hain
Dil ko bana dein jo patang
Saansein ye teri vo hawaayein hain

Tere saath saath aisa
Koi noor aaya hai
Chaand teri raushni ka
Halka sa ik sayaa hai
Teri nazron ne dil ka kiya jo hasharr
Asarr ye hua
Ab inmein hi doobke ho jaaun paar
Yehi hai dua

Aankhon mein teri
Ajab si, ajab si, adaayein hain
Ho...
ankhon mein teri
ajab si, ajab si, adaayein hain
Dil ko bana dein jo patang
Saansein ye teri vo hawaayein hain."

Thankfully, it came to an end and the DJ switched into upbeat tracks again. I went from there and bumped into Manav said.

"Hey!" I said giving him a hug.

I had no idea he was here.

"Hey. I thought you'd never notice me,"he said.

"Sorry yaar, kinda busy here,"I said.

"I can see that,"he said.

I laughed at him.

"By the way, you look pretty,"he said.

"Thank you,"I said.

We carried on our conversation for a bit til someone asked the DJ to play a request for the bride.

I took Manav with me. I mean I needed someone to dance with.
Thankfully, nobody really noticed and thankfully he was there or else it would be awkward again.

We all went home within minutes of each other.

I was dead tired and there was no way I was going to share a bed with him.

"What're you doing?" Hussian asked.

"The hell does it look like I'm doing?" I questioned.

He just gave me a blank look.

"I'm not sleeping on the same bed as you. Who knows what you'll do?" I questioned.

"Oye hello! I'm not like that!" He defended.

"Sure,"I said.

"I'm not desperate,"he responded.

I just rolled my eyes and went to sleep on the couch.

I better get used to this.
