That hug, that hug between him and Claudia proved that I'm nothing more then a friend to him. My heart shattered, I knew it all along but I was holding onto false hope. Now I need to sit through my entire family studies class without crying.

I walked in, I was the first one inside as always and took my seat at the front of class. We never had a seating arrangement in this class witch I loved and hated at the same time. Cole walked in shortly after, witch was surprising considering that he's always late, and sat right beside me.
He never did that. Ever.
Something was definitely wrong.

We sat in silence for what seemed days before he spoke, "I'm sorry Abbey, I know that you have a thing for me but I'm just not sure that its ever going to work out. I like how close we are as friends and all, but the way you reacted when I hugged Claudia proves that you think of me more then a close friend. You like me don't you Abbey?"

I was shocked, it felt like my feelings and my deepest secrets were all out. He knew. There is no way that I could ever lie to him, I do like him and he knows that. 

"Wait, what" I said.

"The way you look at me, the way your eyes light up when we talk, its obvious." he responded.

"Okay fine, maybe I do like you. But what does it matter, by the looks of it you like Claudia."

"No way!! She's been like obsessed with me for the last month. I'm only nice to her because I don't want her to think I'm an asshole, I kinda like you too Abbey."
