Forgotton Love

Chapter 2

Going to the university was a real challenge for Grace. She was so lonely out there with no friends. However, after one week she suddenly remembered that she will be working with a team for assignment. How will the people be? Will they be friendly? Will they talk with me or just give me my part of the assignment? So many questions bothering Grace

"So students" the professor began. "As discuss with you all that I will be separating you in five groups. I'll be telling you in which group you are".

Grace began to feel nervous. Her clumsy hand held the pen very tightly.

"So in group A, there is Christopher, Louis, Sophie, Alex, Maria. In Group B we will have Catherine, Kate, Sharon, Peter, Oliver. In Group C we have Shawn, Grace, Amelia, Sherry and Alice...."

Grace was no longer listening. Who are Amelia, Sherry, Alice and Shawn? How will she know who are they and how will they be?

The class ended earlier than before. Every group was given the project title and Grace found herself sulking when she heard that she will be working for Business Growth. What a boring topic?

"Hi".

Grace raised her head to find a young man standing in front of her. She saw him several times during the course.

"Hello", she replied politely.

He was handsome, in fact very handsome. He had the perfect trait and this matched his fair complexion and green eyes. He had an average weight and was dressed casually.

"If I'm not wrong, you must be Grace?"

Grace nodded, not really interested to know who he was.

"I'm Shawn".

So he was Shawn. He was not bad, in fact quite friendly.

"Team work?. Are you that Shawn?"

"In fact I'm the only Shawn in this class so obviously I am that Shawn", he said jokingly.

"I see. Do you know the rest of the team? I mean Amelia..."

"Of course, we are all friends and I came to ask you if you are free. Actually all of us are meeting at the canteen to discuss about the project. So you are coming?"

Grace could just stare at him. He was so outspoken. Very impressive!

"Yes", she accepted.

The canteen was full of people and she was really confused. She found Shawn going towards a table and she quietly followed him. There were three girls sitting who appear to be quite friendly.

"A new girlfriend Shawn?" one of them asked.

"Yes a new one, any problem?" Shawn answered.

Grace looked at Shawn and was about to reply that she was not his girlfriend.

"She is cute" one of them said.

"Sit down Grace", Shawn ordered.

Grace was feeling uneasy while the rest were very cool. She feel like a stranger and wanted to hide herself.

"This is Amelia, this is Sherry and that's Alice and girls this is Grace"

Both the three of them were very beautiful. Amelia had gorgeous blue eyes and a rosy complexion with silky dark hair. Sherry had a milkish complexion and blue eyes. She was very thin and had golden hairs. Alice was a bit like Sherry except that she had the same colour of eyes like Shawn. All of them could have been models since they had the figures.

"So you are Grace, team work?" Amelia asked

"Yes", Grace replied.

"What a pity! All of us thought that you are the girlfriend of Shawn. Too bad for you Shawn", Alice said.

"She is a girl and is also my friend so she became my girlfriend, isn't it Grace?" he asked

Grace looked uncertain for a moment.

"Too bad, Shawn", Amelia mocked.

"Can we discuss about the assignment?" Grace asked.

All of them looked at her as if she was talking to aliens.

"Just chill!" , Sherry said. "We have one week to complete the assignment. There is no need to rush things".

"But Shawn said that you people wanted to meet to discuss about the assignment".

"And you believe him?" Amelia asked. "Shawn this is really bad. You should not fool a girl like this. You should have told her a bit about us".

"Come on girls, we will be working together for that assignment and it is important to get to know each other", Shawn said seriously.

"Enough Shawn", Alice intervened. "This serious look does not suit you. Why don't you said that you want to know Grace better?"

"I wouldn't mind", Shawn said quickly while glancing at Grace.
