[A/N: So I've been putting this story on the back burner and focusing on my other Diabolik Lovers/Tokyo Ghoul fanfic for a while. But I had to just go ahead and post this before I went insane, lol. I love DiaLove, and the thought of mixing it up with Alice in Wonderland made me crazy excited. Now this story will have lemons later on, but I'll be sure to mark them. For now, enjoy the story!]

-Prologue-

Narrator's POV

Ever since she was younger, Ellie Darling had never been what you would consider a very practical child. Driving her parents nearly insane with all of her delusional stories about a made up world, and talking animals. She could almost always be found with either her nose in a book, or her head in the clouds. This drove everyone around her crazy! It wasn't civilized for a young lady to be going around talking about such nonsense! Always speaking in riddles, or mumbling about invisible cats and rabbits that could tell time.

Her mother tried everything to get her delusional daughter to see reason. From etiquette classes, to doctors visits, even going so far as to take away her drawing utensils so she couldn't play. But Ellie didn't mind this, for she knew that there were most definitely other world's unlike her own. Where the impossible could become possible, and riddles were a way of life.

Chapter I.

A Very Unusual Arrival

Ellie POV

Waking up, I find myself to have fallen down into a great big pit. There are vines and moss growing all along the walls and floor which seems to be made of cobblestone. Getting up from my seated position, I dust off my blue dress, and fix my black bow upon my head. I start to carefully examine my surroundings, taking in the box of matches and candle sitting upon a little wooden table in the corner. I strike one, and light the candle allowing the light to illuminate the dark hole I find myself in.

Now that I can see better, I notice that I seem to be in some kind of home. There was a table and chairs, and a large wooden grandfather clock...come to think of it, there were many clocks in this home. I start to walk further into the dark hallway, desperate to find some sort of opening or door. But on, and on it seemed to stretch, never ending. Suddenly, I heard footsteps that were not my own striding gracefully, yet powerfully towards my direction. Unsure of what to do, I find a small, cramped alcove in between the wall, and I jump to hide inside it.

I peek out of the corner of the wall, and watch for the source of the footsteps come pounding closer and closer until I can see what it is. It's a man! Well...sort of. he had on a magnificent dark suit, and top hat, and a pocket watch dangling from his hand. But that's not what surprised me the most, two large white floppy ears stood sprouting from his head of white, chin length hair. I of course, had to see where such a man could be running off to, and in such a place like this! I creep out of the alcove, careful not to make a sound and set off his highly sensitive ears. As I get closer to him, I hear him mumbling angrily to himself.

"Stupid Reiji, I always have to be right on time for his stupid parties. Whatever, I'm already late, there's not much he can do about that." His deep voice mumbles.

"Excuse me? Sir?" I call out softly behind him. He automatically stops in his tracks, frozen and in shock that someone was able to sneak up on him.

"I'm terribly sorry to bother you, when you seem to be in such a hurry. But I find myself lost in this dark cavern, and I want to know the way out. Any help would be much appreciated." I tell him calmly. He spins around, his shockingly gorgeous crimson gaze angry as it lock onto me, before turning into shock once again.

"Who are you? What are you doing in my den?" He demands, stalking towards me.

"Oh! How terribly rude of me not to introduce myself! My name is Ellie Darling, and who might you be? " I ask in a nervous voice. He pauses slightly, his eyes scanning over me before deciding on something I don't understand.

"The white rabbit, but I suppose you can call me Subaru. Subaru Sakamaki, this is my den that you happen to be in." He tells me carefully.

"I fell down a rabbit hole?" I ask him in shock. He sighs in annoyance, and clenches his fists tightly. When he speaks, I swear I can hear his teeth grinding together.

"Listen, I really don't have time to be doing this right now. You can come with me, or you can stay here. It really doesn't matter to me." He tells me, looking off to the side.

"Well, I suppose my options are looking a little bleak. I will go with you, but I must ask, wherever could a man such as yourself be going at a time like this? And in such a hurry?" I ask him timidly, pulling at the hem of my dress. I look up in shock as he suddenly grabs my hand in his, and starts pulling me along at a rapid pace out of the rabbit hole.

"I'm late for pretty important tea party. Now, I suppose you'll have to be coming along with me. I can't believe how late I am, Reiji is going to kill me." He trails off.

"I'm sorry to be asking so many questions, but who exactly is Reiji?" I ask him.

"He's my older brother, he likes to help throw these dinner parties together every chance he gets. And he's super strict about us being late." He tells me seriously. I can almost see the light at the end of this tunnel, literally.

"We're going to a party?" I ask excitedly.

"Yeah, after all, it's not every day we find a human in our lands." He tells me, leading me into the outside.

'Human?' I thought to myself in quiet shock. I guess I'll have to find out at the tea party later this afternoon.

I wonder what else could be waiting for me at the party?

[A/N: Sorry it's kind of short, but I wanted to introduce some of the characters and get the plot going so that we can go right to the tea party in the next chapter. Can you guess what characters from Diabolik Lovers are going to be playing Alice in Wonderland characters? Anyway, Vote, Comment, Subcribe and Share this story if you liked it! I'll see you guys in the next chapter!!]
