Chapter Eight

Gajeel's P.O.V

It's been a few weeks since Levy and I talked. She's been acting weirdly ever since the last time we met, which was at the restaurant. It's already November and I've written very little in my notebook about Levy. So far all I have is that she has a interest in books, her favorite subject is English and she hates spinach.

I grabbed my phone and called Levy to see if she wanted to go out. I couldn't even look at my notebook because it was embarrassing. Come on levy! Pick up!!

"Hello?" she answered in her adorable sweet voice.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go out! Our assignment is almost due and we've barely written anything."

"Oh I've already written bunch of stuff!"

"You have?"

"Yeah! I went to all your social media accounts and recorded a butt-load of information. I found out that you have a black cat named Lily and your mom died when you were born. You also have a friend named Natsu. I think I've actually heard of him before but I can't quite put my finger on it. I have a lot more information of you if you wanna hear it."

"Woah! No, it's okay. Well if that's the case, do you have any social media accounts?"

"Um... actually no, I don't. But I guess I could tell you some stuff now."

"Okay! Go ahead."

"My favorite book is 'Gone With the Wind'. My favorite color is orange. I have 7 orange hair-bands; one for each day of the week. Um... let's see... oh! My best friend's name is Lucy Heart-"

"LUCY!? I've heard of her before! I think she's Natsu's girlfriend."

"Hmm? So that's where I've heard of him before. Well isn't that a coincidence. I guess we're both third-wheelers."

We talked for so long that I had already filled out 16 pages of my notebook. It was already 12am and I hadn't eaten dinner yet. I quickly ran to the kitchen to eat some leftovers and suddenly I realized I've been seeing less and less of my dad lately. It hadn't really bothered me until now.

I grabbed my phone and dialed his number, hoping that he would pick up. He wouldn't answer. I called a few more times and still nothing new.
I even left a few voice mails but he still wouldn't call back. Text messages didn't work either. I started to freak out until my cat ran up next to my foot and started purring. His eyes stared deep into mine. It was as if he was saying that everything was going to be fine.

I bent over to pet him and then I grabbed a few treats and popped them in his mouth. I love him so much. I mean, he does get annoying sometimes, but I really wouldn't change it for the world.

An hour later, I finished my dinner and went upstairs to go brush my teeth. Lily followed me up and into bathroom. I quickly brushed my teeth and got ready to go to bed. Lily snuggled up on my bed and purred quietly. I smiled and got into my blankets.

Lily was the only one who could make me smile like that. Well, him and Levy.

Hello! I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while and it's been a really short chapter too but it's the best I got.

This one's unedited (like most of the other ones lol) so I apologize for any grammar and spelling errors.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this chapter. It's not really big or anything. Just kinda a chapter to get the story moving because it's going by shortly.
