Subconsciously Loving You

Prologue

Marcel Aaron Styles. "Twin" brother of one of the most popular guy in school, Harry Edward Styles. Although they were mainly known as "twins", they were completely different. 

Harry was in year 13. People thinks he's a major flirt because of how many girls and boys swoon over him. Truth is, he's still a virgin and is very happy about it. He'd rather wait until uni to start dating and get his first boyfriend rather than to hook up and get fucked up in the arse. 

He's got the curls, the dimples, the smile, and the body. Not only that, but he's a great singer and plays a bit of football with his mates. What more can anyone ask for? 

Now, Marcel was the exact opposite. Instead, he prefers his hair to be slicked to the side with lots of gel. And unlike his brother, he doesn't like using contact lenses. Hence the usage of big goofy glasses. He's invisible to the human eye, until people notice how smart he is and how easily it is to force him into doing their projects or homework for them. 

Although Harry and him were a year apart, Marcel had taken most of Harry's features that includes the big swooning smile, curls that are untamed, and deep dimples on either side of his cheeks. Marcel likes his nerdy clothing than Harry's stylish, hipster clothes. 

Harry is definitely protective of Marcel. Not because he's younger than Harry, but because he truly does love him and wants nothing more than the best for him. It always hurts Harry knowing that Marcel could get beaten up and he isn't there to protect him. 

Getting bullied and being annoyed by it was an understatement for Marcel. He couldn't even care about it. He couldn't care how many bruises he ends up with for being himself. 

People tell him to change his style and become a someone. But doesn’t want to. He especially doesn't want to change the fact that he despises Louis William Tomlinson - football team captain, best actor in school, and total flirt. Anytime he sees the feathery haired, blue eyed lad, he feels like stabbing his face with a fork. Or a knife. 

Either way, he despises Louis for the "innocent" foreplay he uses on Marcel every time they see each other. Louis tells Marcel that he'll learn to love him. Marcel just gags and feels like throwing up on his face. 

"Louis, a punk or a popular kid, like yourself, can't come to their senses and appreciate a nerd like me," Marcel would always tell him. It's like it was his catchphrase ever since Marcel met Louis in year 10. And every time Marcel would say that, Louis would only reply back, "I'll teach you something about being wrong for once in your life."
