You shook him. Screaming his name and crying. He was put on a stretcher and put in an ambulance. The police told you to say back and go to the hospital tomorrow and they will hopefully have results. You went home and cried yourself to sleep. He was an amazing person. At 2am you got a call. It was the hospital. They said he wasn't doing good. He was still here at the moment but they didn't have a prediction for the morning. You hung up and cried again.

------------ the next morning-----------

You got to the hospital, and the nurse led you to his room. He was hooked up to a bunch of tubes and IVs. He had a oxygen mask, and his eyes were shut. You held his hand and let the tears fall. A few doctors came in and checked on him, but they never greeted you. They didn't take his hand from you either. You left later that day. Went home ate a little bit of food and went to bed. You never got another call. Each day was like the next. For a week.

One day you went to the hospital again.

"I don't know how long he'll be here anymore," you heard a doctor say.

No. This couldn't be happening. You knocked in the door to the room.

"Is he dying?" You ask.

"I'm afraid we can't tell," the doctor to you.

You left, and you cried for days. Until one day the hospital called.

"Nagisa is in stable condition. He is ok." A nurse said.

You felt relief wash over you, and you went to see him. When you got to the hospital the nurse led you straight to his room.

He was sleeping, and his face was pale and delicate. His breath was soft, but you could hear it clearly. You haven't heard a more beautiful sound. He was alive. And you were the happiest person on earth. Awhile later he woke up.

"Nagisa! You're Alive!!" You exclaimed excitedly.

"Hi, (f/n), right?" He questioned. He doesn't remember you.

"Are you my friend?" He asked. You looked at the nurse. She whispered in your ear.

"He doesn't remember certain things, don't worry, his memory will come back. Give it time." You nod.

"Actually, I'm your girlfriend," you say. You think back to the time he proposed. You feel tears start to fall.

"Hey, don't cry. I'm glad you're my girlfriend, you look pretty," he gave an attempt to cheer you up.

"S-shut up, Baka!" You giggle a little bit. You stayed with him for the rest of the day. At the end of the day you and him both fall asleep on his hospital bed. You kissed him lightly before drifting off, and you say, "once you remember things right we'll get married, ok?" He nods slowly.

-------------------------*BONUS*---------------------

About a week later he was released from the hospital. The nurse told you it would be best if he stayed with you. You go to his house to get his things. Once you reach you home you start showing him around. He slowly regains his memory and personality after that. You help him day by day. Sometimes you can't help but want to be a girlfriend instead of a mom, but you stayed by his side. Yes, sometimes you had that feeling, but right now you were glad he was alive.
