Free x reader: in the end

Rin's Part

ok, I'll do a backstory of everyone's lives after the divorce ok? (Including the lawyer's)

You: after the divorce you went back to your normal life, you went to work, came back home at night, ate and went to bed. You lived like you did everyday... But this time without Rin. Sure, you missed him for a few days, but life goes on right?

Rin: his life changed drastically. He moved out after the divorce and he hit another wall. Kind of like the time he left for Australia. He didn't speak with his friends, and the only thing he did was go to work depressed and come back home to cry. He felt as though you were so far away even though he moved a floor down from your apartment.

Lawyer: "Ukyo,  Ukyo? Hey, did they go through with it?" I was zapped out of thought by my brother, Masaomi. (Yes, I brought bro con into this)

"Yeah, they did," I told him.

"Oh, that's sad, they really were a good couple." He frowned slightly. I nodded, "they were but in the end they didn't make it," I said to him. We both let out a sigh. I was thinking about how they could cancel if they wanted, but by their words and faces the day they signed the paper it wasn't going to happen soon.

Ok now to the actual story...

You: you come home from a long day of work. You got a call that something happened with the contract about the divorce and you were still married. 'No,' you thought. But really, deep in your heart you were still happy that you weren't totally alone yet. You were too tired to think about it any longer and you collapsed on your bed into a deep sleep.

---------Rin's Pov------

"What?! We're still married? But we wanted that divorce! Couldn't something be done? Fine, just tell the BAKA that I want a call soon telling me we are over, and no more history between us, ok?" Rin yelled in his private office. 'Dumb, Ukyo, what has he done to that paper?' Rin thought. Truthfully, he thinks that you were the one that wanted the divorce, not him. He would've done anything to save the relationship, but things were too crazy and that was the one thing you two could settle on. Really, he still loved you. You, well you were blinded by work and the life you already had and you have no time for love, or anything else really.

Rin's boss later came in. "Your work shift is now shortened. You start at 10 and end at 1, ok?" Rin nodded.

"And you need rest, no more night shifts ok?" Rin nodded again. He pulled out his keys and something dropped out. Another key, the key to your apartment. He still had it, he sighed and stuffed it back into his pocket. His drove home was sad as ever. He could think about the memories he made in that house (apartment) with you.

--------Third Person Pov--------

___and Rin both pull into the parking lot at the same time. For a second they both stare at each other. Then the two both blink, and walk into the apartment silently and they went to their separate rooms. They both had to walk up the same flight of stairs. Before, ____ goes up the last flight, it was Rin's stop. He grabbed her wrist.

"Just so you know we are still married, ok?" He asked. No, told ____ coldly.

"Yeah, no dip Baka, they don't only remind you, you know," she huffed. She crosses her arms and mumbled, "Baka."

He stared at his well, wife surprised, and angry, "hey, you are the one who wants to drag us through this mess anyway!" Rin started to raise his voice. _____ looked scared and hurt, but Rin didn't stop there.

"And just saying I don't like you anymore!" He yelled. That was it, _____ ran away from him and up her last flight of stairs. She could hear the door slam, and whimpers could be heard from throughout Rin's apartment. She could care less though. He didn't want her in his life, she didn't want him in her's.

She fixed herself a little dinner and went to sleep.

------------Rin's Pov---------

Rin slams his door shut. 'What have I done? I made my wife cry, I bet she is elated that the divorce will come soon,' he thought. He didn't like her he felt more than that. He wants her back. He just couldn't admit it. He needed to talk to her. He went upstairs to her room. He didn't want to use the key and break in, but he had to talk to her, and he will go drastic measures to do so.

"Hey, ______ let me in!" He yelled. She didn't answer.

"Baka! Let me in. We need to talk!" She still didn't answer, or say anything back. 'That's it, I'm going in.' He unlocked the door with the key.

------------ your Pov--------

You had woken yourself up to take a shower. You were humming to yourself when you heard something. 'Was that knocking? No it couldn't be.' You continued with your shower, not realizing that  someone had broken in into your home and was looking for you. You got out of the shower to hear someone speaking, it was a male voice, but you couldn't figure out who it was. It was too muffled, but you realize it was coming from inside your apartment.

*A/n, yes you might realize I might be skipping between 'I' and using the characters' actual name, but I want it to make the most sense so...

------------Rin's Pov--------

I stepped inside of our- I mean ____'s apartment room. It brought back so much memories and feelings. I wanted to cancel that divorce~now. I spotted her phone and I heard the shower running. I quickly grabbed the phone and clutched it for a second. Sweat and tears ran down my face. I proceeded to dial the lawyer's phone number.

"Hello~" Ukyo's voice ran through the phone.

"Umm, hi it's Rin," I tell him.

"Ahh, Rin Matsuoka! Yes, I'm sorry about your contract," his voice sounded concerned.

"No,its good. Uh, don't worry about looking for it now, cancel it," I said.

"Are you~" he was cut off.

"Yes. I'm sure now cancel it." I said through gritted teeth.

"Done." The phone clicked. That's when I saw _____ step out of the bathroom in fresh clothes. She looked beautiful even soaked in water.

---------- your Pov-------

You saw Rin with his hands on your phone. His face was tear-stained, and he looked as if he ran a thousand miles.

"What are you doing? And with MY phone? And in MY house?" You demanded. He looked hurt at the harsh tone.

"I uh~ I-i canceled the divorce." You couldn't believe his words. Your eyes widened at the thought. 'But didn't he want that? Be over with it?'

"What?! Why?" You almost shout. You didn't want to sound mean or rude, but you were shocked. His face was bright red  and he looked up at you with his magenta eyes.

"I want to be you husband again," he said. He ran over and pulled you in. You couldn't realized how much you missed it. How you missed~ him. Soon you both were in tears, and you guys collapsed on your bed and fell asleep. The next morning you both woke up to find that you were snuggled against each other. You were bright red, but he just pulled in for a hug and kiss.
