Troyes POV;
I woke up to the shattering sound of my alarm. I paused for a second to wipe my eyes before stretching, making every single muscle in my body flex. Ah, that felt much better. I reached over to my phone and picked it up, sliding to stop the alarm. I layed in bed for around 5 minutes, checking twitter an so on.
I lifted the duvet off my bony figure and crawled out of bed, reaching for a fresh pair of boxers. Slipping them on I threw the dirty ones into the washing basket located in the corner of my room. London was cold at this time of year so I quickly snapped into the harsh cold reality and picked some clothes out. Today it was the usual winter choice of black skinny jeans & a hoodie, accompanied by a beanie. Nobody would expect anything fancy on the first day of sixth form would they?
I shuffled my bed covers around until the looked almost tidy. Picked the cushions up from off the floor and rearranged them how mum liked them. I couldn't feel any less prepared for today.Typical troye left everything until the last minute, forgetting stationary & every other essential needed. I sighed at myself a brushed a hand through my uncombed hair. Moving to the mirror I grabbed a hairbrush from my bedside cabinet. I dragged it through my hair until it looked half decent. I really really wasn't prepared for today.
I reached out for my bag on the end of my bed and flung it over my shoulder. I opened my bedroom door to see Tyde outside rummaging through his own backpack, he looked up at me and smiled. "Hey troye, umm.. have you got a spare calculator? I kind of, um lost it" he trailed off. "I'm sorry mate, if I had a spare one to lend you, you could have it, but I haven't even got my own" I winked at him and turned on my heels towards the stairs. Tyde gave off a slight smirk, knowing I was the most useless one out of our family.
I got halfway down the stairs to realise I forgot socks. Seriously troye, you'd forget your head if it wasn't screwed on, I laughed to myself as I sprinted up the stairs, skipping 1 or 2 steps at a time. I finally reached the top of the stairs and unlatched the door for me to enter. I bounced over to my set of drawers and picked up a pair of red socks, the last few in the drawer.They will have to do I thought to myself.
I left the room and went downstairs, to see my mum overseeing the bacon in the pan. This was a tradition, every start of term mum would get up and make me and Tyde bacon sandwiches for breakfast, I always looked forward to it. "Hello my little munchkin" mum cooed as she squeezed my cheeks and reached for a hug. I returned the hug and smiled at the fact she still called me a munchkin, always has done from the age of 3 and I expect her to keep calling it me. She returned to cooking the bacon as she shouted my dad to call for Tyde, who was probably still fretting over not finding his calculator.
I did an epic slide over to the fridge & nearly lost my balance. I looked up and hoped nobody had seen it, only to see my dad chuckling to himself. I put a finger to my lips to tell him not to say anything. He sealed the deal by miming to zip his lips. I loved my family, they all bonded so well and never really had an argument. Apart from the one time we went away and I forgot my passport... it was in the past so i think they had forgiven me pretty quickly, it's a funny memory to look back on now.
When I opened the fridge door to see mum had stocked up in food my face lit up and to my delight she had bought a big jar of Nutella. I think she could kind of guess it was all going to be gone by tonight . I reached for the usual breakfast items, ketchup,brown sauce,orange juice & milk. I layed them out on the table, ketchup next to Tydes plate & the brown sauce next to mine. I walked over to the cupboard where I reached for a mug and a glass. I placed the mug next to the kettle & put the glass on the table. I leaned over the table for the carton of orange . I flicked the cap up and carefully peeled back the foil on the lid. Trying to make sure it didn't go everywhere. I poured the right amount into the glass an moved it slightly to the right.
At this point Tyde came down and had a happy smile on his face, I took a wild guess that he found his calculator. Mum repeated the same cuddles and squeezes with Tyde but with his nickname, tydewydey, somehow cute but mostly cringey. I filled the kettle up and flicked the switch, waiting for it to boil. Mum rolled her eyes at me, since we moved from Perth I've been a sucker for tea, I have at least 10 cups a day.. I started thinking about new video ideas, its about time me and Tyler did a video together, it was just finding the time & dates and fitting in other events. It would be funny to see the outcome of the video, a few more troyler fanfictions here and there & an endless supply of troyler gifs spamming my tumblr tag.. I quickly snapped out of my own thoughts due to the click of the kettle. I had already put everything in my mug so I just poured the water out and added milk. I stared out of the window as I stirred my tea, the sky was dull and didn't look very exciting, I could see people walking past with dogs, busy men and women in their suits & ties, rushing for morning meetings with a phone in one hand and a Starbucks coffee in the other. Shouting down the phone to colleagues or something. Another hectic day in London.
I sat down in my usual spot at the table, Tyde opposite me, Mum to my left and Dad diagonal me, it had been this way since the beginning, Sagey used to sit at the end of the table. It quite weird not having her here anymore. I was used to her hogging the bathroom nearly all morning. Now she's moved to central London I don't see half as much of her as I would like too. I hope I can go and visit her pretty soon, I hope she's enjoying her singing lessons though.
I tucked into my bacon sandwich just savoured the few moments it had lasted. After that I started sipping at my tea but was still startled at how hot it was, I shot my hand out and grabbed for Tydes orange juice to soothe my burnt tongue. The whole table was in hysterics at one of my frequent failures..
I saw my mum glance to the clock and then look at me. "Munchkin, shouldn't you be on your way?" she asked concerned. I twisted my neck to face towards the clock, and she was right, 8:15, I had 15 minutes to get to school, if I set off now, I wouldn't be late. Hopefully. I shifted away from the table towards the door. I shoved my feet into my converse and did the laces. i said my goodbyes and mum told me what was for tea tonight, not like i payed any attention. I stepped out of the house into the dark,dull streets of London, it was only a 10 minute walk but it was lonely. I took my phone out of my pocket & plugged my earphones in, I double clicked my home button and pressed play. The usual playlist, it consisted of mostly Beyonce, I felt fabulous walking down the road.

I entered the school building and suddenly realised I didn't miss anything. Same chaotic hallways, the idiotic school football team, girls who spoke to loud, and then the people that just stood in the middle of the hallway not letting you past. I now remember how much I hate this place. I looked in my new planner and saw that my first lesson was English. Room 201, second floor that means two flights of stairs and energy I didn't have. I walked into the room and to my surprise I was the first one here, I took a seat near the back and waited. People started arriving and the class got louder and louder, sir was shouting for everyone to calm down, but it was a supply teacher and they never really helped any situation. Everyone took their places, everyone has their friendship groups, and me? Well I was left by myself, all my friends had gone to other schools because this one was rubbish. My mum had insisted I stay here. I stared at the empty seat beside me for what had seemed 10 minutes. As I was looking I saw a pair of long, tanned legs on the other side of the chair. I looked up to see the most beautiful girl I had ever seen.
