Layla's POV;2

I got bored with writing on my poster so settled with drawing things instead, I drew band logos and other little doodles here and there. Ed sheeran took up most of the music section with a big sketch of his logo, he was my favourite.

I could see Troye peeking over my shoulder to see what things I was interested in. I looked up and smiled at him, "hey, what's up?" I questioned. He stuttered for a moment "Im just surprised at what sort of things you like, you seem like someone completely different" he smiled as he scanned more over the page. "Never judge a book by its cover"

I shot him a wink & he laughed back ...he was actually quite cute

I took a look at his and we did have a fair few things in common. Despite talking to him for only around 10 minutes, I knew that this was going to blossom into a beautiful friendship.

I kept looking back and forth at the clock, not really wanting to it to end but at the same time, wanting the day to finish, but it was only first period so I guess I had a long time to wait. During the lesson me and Troye talked and talked about things we liked and we got to know each other really well.

He had moved from Perth at the age of 14 and had lived here for 3 years. He lived with his mum,dad & his brother, his sister had moved out and into central London to take singing classes. I told him about Blackpool and the theme parks and how I used to help out giving little kids rides on the donkeys. There was just one underlying secret that I couldn't let escape my lips just yet... But it didn't matter just yet, I had only just met him.

Soon enough the bell rang and it was quite saddening to leave Troye, we checked timetables as we walked through the doorway, next lesson we had together was maths, 4th period, so I guess it was only 3 periods away.

We exchanged a short goodbye and walked down opposite directions of the hallways. I didn't quite know where my next lesson was so I walked round aimlessly for the next 10 minutes, walking in late wasn't unusual for me so I got used to the feeling of people looking at me an teachers giving me a death glare.

Found it. Science. Always had been rubbish at it and always will. I slowly creeped in trying to blend in with the rest of the class, the teacher was out so I slipped into back of the class. Taking the nearest seat I could find I slumped down, trying to be invisible to anyone else. After a couple of minutes the teacher came back and everyone else rushed to their seats.

Oh, yay. I would get stuck next to the whiney girl of the class. She would not stop talking. She kept rabbiting on and on about the latest celebrity gossip, chart music, new fashions and what not, which a clearly didn't give a damn about. Her nasally voice rang in my ears. I had to keep her occupied by nodding and saying 'mm yeah' every couple of sentences. It went on like this for the duration of the lesson. The lesson dragged on but the bell came to my delight, it was finally break. I packed my stuff up an decided on sitting outside on a bench, even though it was like 4 degrees outside
