SAM.

chapter 9

Wednesday morning I woke up at 7 o'clock to go to English class with Rachel, who actually stayed the full 2 hours, then straight after I had media  for an hour and after I was so tired I didn't go to health, I felt really bad so got someone from that class to send me the work. I didn't want to message Sam to pick me up and Rachel was shopping with Sophie so I ended up following this guy from my media class to the public bus stop so I could get home, I think he might have realised I was following me which is awkward...

Rachel and Sophie are shopping for William's party tonight which I'm not going too. I have work at 9 to 10 tonight so there was no point going since the party starts at 8 right?

when I got home it was 10:15 and I had lunch well I did some school work. Rachel was sending me photos on snap chat of some outfits and asking which one looked best. Sam didn't come home so he must be at William's house still. I don't know when we are going to talk, we live together we are going to have to speak up, we can't stay away forever.

I didn't have anything else to do all day so I went for a run around the block, I was so anxious about everything, work, school and Sam.

later on

it's now 7:30 and I have 30 minutes to get to work with no ride there or back. Rachel is already at Williams and I'm guessing Sam is too, not that I care.

It was raining outside and I don't have an umbrella. I have to get the bus to work and will probably be late. I feel really anxious about being late to work and having no way there. 

'call Sam' my brain tells me. No I won't call Sam, I can't. 

I run outside to the bus stop which sadly doesn't have a shelter there. I see the bus comes in 15 minutes giving me 15 minutes to get to work. I was about to text to say I'm going to be late when I black car pulls up beside me. 

The window goes down and I see it is a girl, she is around my age. where a lot of make up and from what I can see wearing a tight dress with a push up bra. showing a lot of her boobs. 

She gives the biggest smile I've ever seen "hi darling, you need a ride? you look kinda wet?" she laughs to herself softly.  

I put my back pack over my head. "um no it's fine, my bus is coming soon" I reply.

she is a stranger I can't just get into her car. "Don't be silly, your soaking, Get in darling" 

She looks harmless to me so I give her a smile and hope in her car. She starts her car and drives off.

"Hi I'm Rebekah, I'm taking you to Pak'n'save right darling?" she says looking down at my work shirt.

"Yes please, I'm Emily. I got to greenwood college" I say giving her my hand to shake but I realise she is driving so pull back. Gosh, I'm so silly.

"Oh yes My boyfriend goes there" She says.

"oh cool, who is your boyfriend?" I ask

"um you probably don't know him, his name is Sam" 

What? My Sam? no not my Sam, I mean my roommate Sam. The guy who said he didn't have  girlfriend and tried to kiss me? 

"oh yeah I don't know a Sam" I lie, I don't want to start any drama and this girl looks like she know how too. 

"throught so, we are actually on a break at the moment" she starts to go on about her boyfriend, Sam. How he never wants to spend time with her and is always busy with work.

I don't assume it's the Sam I know but I can't help but wonder if it is. He told me he has never had a girlfriend, so it must not be. 

It took us 10 minutes to get to my work and I hop out "hey thanks so much again, really."
