You woke up due to a thunderstorm occurring outside. Equipping the armour that was specially designed for your field of work, you took off for the docks. But not before glancing over to your sleeping parents.
"Goodbye, Mother, Father."
Soon, you reached the ship that was awaiting you. The captain was none other than Shay Patrick Cormac, the infamous 'Rogue' that was constantly being hunted down by the Assassins for his betrayal.
"Ah, Y/N. Good to see you're still alive. Although I suppose I can't expect anything less from you, the famous and all skilled Assassin." He said that last word with venom.
You kept silent.
"Quite the noisy one, you. No matter, come aboard, let's get off this wretched place."
Once the ship was out, Shay steered it into a direction you have never been too often.
"Have you considered my proposal?" He says, glancing at you.
"No." The weight of leaving everything you worked so hard to maintain was straining, to say the least.
"Cheer up lad, think of it as a fresh new start."
You heard the captain's cabin door creak open and your blade was out in a matter of seconds.
"Easy, Y/N. It's just a friend of mine." Shay chuckled.
You sheathed your blade, but remained cautious. A girl walked up the stairs and looked at you with a surprised expression. Her left side of her hair and right eye were both brown, while the right of her hair and left eye were pink, really peculiar.
"Her name is Neo."
You stared at Shay.
"What?"
You shook your head and glanced over to Neo. She was holding an umbrella and you sensed that she was stronger than she seemed to be. You were a few feet taller than her, and when Shay saw your height compared to hers, he burst out laughing, almost colliding with a rock. He gave the wheel to the quartermaster. And proceeded keep laughing.
You raised an eyebrow at him. Neo couldn't help but smile.
After about 15 minutes, he calmed down. Shay grabbed your shoulder and stood you next to Neo. He laughed again. You couldn't help but snigger at her height. Neo tried to stand on her toes, but she was still shorter than you. She puffed her cheeks out in annoyance, her cheeks bright red.
However, an explosion was heard to your right. It was another ship firing on Morrigan, the Shay's ship.
"MAN THE CANNONS, WE'RE GOING TO RAID THIS ONE." Shay shouted, taking the wheel.
