-yoongi pov-
I walked home past the last bus stop on the way back to my home, my arms were throbbing and spots of bruises were appearing all over them, my knees were weak, sleep wouldn't be so bad right now but I had piles and piles of homework to complete, as always I got into an argument with the man who owned the store I worked part-time at, this would always finish when he threw me out of the store firing me and telling me to never come back, of course he was not serious but something told me that I had pushed the boundaries too far today.
I walked past my mum who was reading a book while drinking some coffee, waving at her with a smile I walked towards my bedroom, placing my bag on my bed I laid down next to it and closed my eyes only to open them mere seconds later, as I did a small note caught my eye.
homework (from jimin)
I knew you would forgot,
So I put this letter in your bag,
Like a normal person, duh!
Anyway research some recipes
And write down dot points I'll
Be asking for them tomorrow
When I have a class with you, again!!
-JiminI rolled my eyes and laughed at the stupid note before scrunching it up and throwing it in the small trash can near my desk.
"Park Jimin, that idiot."
I said to myself bitterly."Out of all the students, it had to be him."
Jimin was not a person I would befriend or even talk to for that matter, he was hated by most of the class and no one paid him much attention maybe the odd rumour would make his life a living hell but on other days no one cared, however, recently after he crashed through my life I had gotten to know him very well, not for the right reasons though.
"I'm sorry Gi, I...I don't love you anymore."
The overly honeyed Voice of my girlfriend echoed through my empty mind."Jimin, he is rich, he has money, he is also desperate I think you need to step up your game."
After a few days of not being able to convince my girlfriend, she dumped me and not only because I wasn't good enough but because Jimin was my partner in cooking, of course her knowing about my bisexuality figured in her small pea-sized brain that I would take her beloved 'chim chim' (a nickname I have gotten used to) away from her, I tried telling her that I didn't give two fucks if Jimin was my partner and that she was making a huge mistake earning a slap across the face and after she had gone, the person who caused the break-up came and started talking about a stupid green tea cake.
I sat down on the chair in front of my desk and took out my homework and started working on it, subjects such as science and maths were more than easy to understand but cooking? It doesn't require skill it is useless once I become a doctor or a good lawyer I wouldn't have to cook anyway, with all the money I would earn I could buy a cook or a 5 star restaurant, so why is it that my mother wants me to get good grades in food technology anyway? Sighing, I finished the last of my homework and stretched my arms as I reached out to throw away a piece of paper the note that Jimin had given me caught my eye, hesitantly I picked it up and unraveled it reading it again until I finally decided to do his stupid homework.
"Park fucking Jimin, you are killing me."
I mumbled under my breath as I took my laptop out."Excuse me?"
I turned my head towards the door as my mothers gaze turned towards my laptop."What?"
I questioned confused as to why she was there."I was asking you what?"
"School."
"Hmm, anyway there is someone here to meet you."
She stated walking away."Suree, thanks mum, thank you soo much for telling me who this person is and why they are here."
I said sarcastically walking out of my room."Yoongi!"
A high, girly voice called out clearly excited a smile crept up my face hoping that it was my ex-girlfriend, my smile soon disappeared as I got closer to the door."Speak of the devil."
I grumbled."what are you doing here?"
I questioned annoyed by the youngers attachment to me."The cake?"
He answered rocking back and forth."Hang on, how the fuck did you find out where I live?"
"Yoongi! Don't swear your parents are right there."
He shouted shushing me."Don't worry he has been doing that for many years, we have gotten use to it."
My mum called out from the kitchen."Let the young man in Yoongi, you barely have friends over."
Jimin stood there a smile on his face, I motioned for him to come in ignoring how awkward the situation was I lead him to my room and asked him to sit down."I see you're doing what I told you to"
He said happily."I had nothing else to do, now, how did you get my address?"
I questioned sitting down in front of him."A friend, oh by the way, your girl- ex girlfriend, asked me out I said no for you."
Jimin explained his head low, but that couldn't stop me from seeing his bright red face."You didn't need to, I don't like her."
I replied nonchalantly."And by the way, no stores around here sell Matcha."
I said changing the subject."What?"
Jimin looked at me like I just explained the theory of evolution."Green tea powder, idiot, and you say that you know everything about cake."
"No I didn't."
"But you should've anyway, you searched up the ingredients."
"I though we would use tea-bags."
I brought a hand to my mouth as I started laughing."Oh god, please say you were joking."
Jimin sat there pouting as I explained the negatives of using a tea-bag in a cake."You're such a meanie, Min Yoongi, I hate you!"
Jimin half-shouted wanting to sound angry yet it came out as a tease."Right, so what can we do about this situation?"
I asked changing the mood back into a bitter one."Coffee cake?"
"No, let's stick with this we will have to look elsewhere for the Matcha, we have a long time to do this so I suggest we go looking tomorrow."
I said looking at the calendar on my wall."Ok!"
"Jimin?"
"Yes?"
"I know you didn't say no to my ex because of me."
