Chapter 2: Madison Marie Pitts
CRISTINA'S POV
"CRISTINA!" Andy yelled from downstairs.
"Yeah?" I asked, coming down the stairs.
"We gotta get to the hospital, Ella went into labor."
"Really?" He nodded. "Shit, let me get dressed." I said, running upstairs. I pulled on a pair of jeans and a BVB shirt, pulling my hair into a ponytail and applying a bit of eyeliner. I ran back down and put on my converse, slipping my phone into my pocket.
"Let's go." Andy said, opening up the door. We went out top his car and he drove to the hospital. We walked into the waiting room and saw Jinxx, Sammi, CC and Lauren.
"Hey guys." Jinxx said as we rushed up to them.
"How is she doing?" I asked.
"We've had no word back yet, Jake is back there with Ella and your dad hasn't arrived yet."
"Okay, thanks." I said, sitting down next to Andy.
"We're here." My dad said as they ran in. "Hey Cristina." He said, hugging me.
"Hey dad." I had gotten used to calling Ashley, dad lately.
"Hi baby." My mom said.
"Hey mom." I said hugging her before sitting back down. We sat around until Jake came out with a huge smile.
"It's a beautiful baby girl." He said and we all cheered. "Come on." He said, bringing us down the hallway and into Ella's room.
"What's her name?" Sammi asked.
"Madison Marie Pitts." Ella said with a smile, stroking her daughter's cheek. "Do you guys wanna hold her?" Ella asked and we all nodded. Jake took her out of Ella's arms and handed her to me.
"Hi Madison." I cooed, bouncing her a bit. "She looks so much like you Ella." I said with a smile before passing her off to Andy. I looked up at his face and it was pure joy, I could tell he was going to be a great father someday.
"She's beautiful Jake." He said as he scanned her face. He passed her onto my mom and my mom began to cry even more then she was. Andy pulled me close to him and kissed the top of my head as we watched Madison go down the line. My mom passed her onto my dad and he began to tear up.
ASHLEY'S POV
Katie gave Madison to me and I looked down at that innocent face, causing me to tear up.
"You know, this makes me wish I was here for Cristina's birth." I said, stroking Madison's cheek. I looked down at Cristina and she smiled. I handed her down to CC and wiped the tears off my cheeks. After everyone got a chance to see her, we left and decided to let Ella, Jake and Madison get some rest.
"Cristina!" I called as she was walking to her car. She turned around and I motioned for her to come over to me. She walked over and I engulfed her in a hug, tears rolling down my cheeks again. "I'm so sorry for not being there for you when you were growing up."
"It's okay dad." She said, barley above a whisper. I broke the hug and kissed her forehead before looking down at her.
"I love you so much Cristina, and I'm so glad I tracked you down."
"I love you too daddy, and I'm glad too." She smiled. She went over to Andy's car and I met Katie at my car. We got in and drove home, watching TV until we both decided to go to bed. I was laying on the bed when Katie walked out of the bedroom. I walked up to her and placed my hands on her hips.
"Oh Ashley." She moaned as I kissed her neck. I kissed her lips and then looked down at her. "What do you want?" She jokingly groaned.
"What ever do you mean? Can't I just kiss my wife?"
"Ashley, I know the face, now what is it?"
"Just all day today, I was thinking, maybe, sometime in the future, we could have a baby?"
"Oh, I don't know Ashley." She said, breaking out of my grip and sitting on the bed.
"Why nooooottttt?" I whined, following her.
"Ashley, when Cristina graduated and moved out, I figured I was done raising kids, I don't know if I wanna raise another one Ashley."
"But you'd have help this time! Look, I feel really bad about running out on you guys, I did from the moment I did it. I want a second chance, I want a kid that I can call my own, that I raised from baby to adult."
"I don't know Ashley, I'll think about it. We can talk about it later, okay?" I sighed.
"Okay." I said and pecked her lips.
"Good, I love you." She smiled, hugging me before laying down.
"I love you too." I said, laying down and wrapping my arms around her.
